Just did the quest "to walk on far shores" which is in Bangkoria you basically have to revive him. When you get his soul and bring to his body he says " There I am... still dead. So do I just climb back in...? "
then once he does "there. easier than I thought" honestly hope Emeric comes back in more quests. Only found this out because I realized I didn't do all the main quests for some zones.

I had no idea! And yeah, agreed, he's my favourite too. I mean, all the faction leaders are good - it'd be hard to immerse in the 3 Banners War if you found out your faction was led by a moron and/or a tyrant, but I like Emerick the best.
His and Queen's Maraya's banter in the Wayrest Castle always puts a smile on my face. The bit about the dog is just an awesome piece of voice-acting :-)1 -

Seriously, Emeric doesn't know how good he's got it that Maraya supports him. He needed a good sharp talking to after running after Septima Tharn in Bangkorai. I don't care if she's your old flame. Your wife is capably holding down one of your major alliances and just prevented the ruination of your Covenant by sending me to help - you're an idiot to chase another woman at all, much less one who's an enemy!4 -

✭✭Before Tam1, I went through this questline many times. And each time, as great as a character I thought Emeric is, I always thought Queen Maraya would make the better ruler. If there was an option to promote Queen Maraya to DC's leader, I'd bet a lot of people would do it. (sorry Emeric...
