What does the Golden Vendor offer this week?
The Adhazabi Aba-daro is a special ESO vendor that only appears on the weekend to offer a random selection of gold jewelry (2 from dungeons and two from zone items sets), two monster set helms or shoulders (pledge dungeons).
  1. Ring of the Sergeant – Healthy 250,000g / 500,000AP
  2. Flame Blossom Ring – Arcane 250,000g / 500,000AP
  3. Signet of the Pariah – Healthy 150,000g / 300,000AP*
  4. Crafty Alfiq’s Ring –Arcane 150,000g / 300,000AP*
  5. Stormfist’s Shoulders – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
  6. Grothdarr’s Shoulders – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
*Tradeable

    I honestly with they'd stop putting shoulders in the gold merchant. You wait a week and get something you could've got in a day from a chest. Waste of a week.

    I actually find it super useful, I've spent more than 60 keys trying to get a certain weight for some shoulders (even in today's system).

    Also it's more fun for me to farm AP than to make the same pledges I've done over and over again over the years.

    Not everyone does dungeons, though. Most, if not all, of my monster sets come from the golden. I rarely ever do dungeons and don't have many keys to use to try for shoulders I might want 🤷🏼‍♀️

    I spent 50 keys for dominhaus awhile back and got all light armor or the other set... I was so angry.

    Shoulder is actually very nice here, much better than helms. It's easy to farm helms but getting the few remaining shoulder pieces you're missing is a nightmare... I happily snatch them from here for that 200k ap.

    Edit: just for the numbers, at this point I don't have only 6 head pieces while from shoulders I'm missing 9 pieces... (not counting the new dungeons)

    I actually prefer Shoulders at The Golden - ‘cause even the most difficult Vet dungeon drops seem MUCH easier to farm than wasting keys on whatever the “other” monster set is in the coffers I want a helm from.

    Really the Golden is mostly for people like me who just don't want to run dungeons at all anymore. I've been there, done that and just want to anymore. So shoulders are just as useful to me as head pieces.

    Bought some Crafty and Pariah rings. If I don't end up using them they should sell well in a few months, especially the Craty ones if non proc becomes permanent.

    So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

    I literally spent 70 keys trying to get the Domihaus shoulder too! All i got was a tonne of medium Earthgore. Fortunately though the last coffer had a Medium Training shoulder. I swear the game RNG makes it more difficult for you to get stuff you need based on your character and stats etc. It's the first time i've spent keys on the specific coffers. I never realised how awful the RNG would be.

    Pretty sure the loot tables for shoulders are very tilted for some sets. it should be 50% chance for getting any of the sets.
    chance of having 11 boxes without Domihaus is 1/2^11=1/2048.
    Helmets is pretty useless unless they are from hard dlc dungeons.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    I prefer heads, but as you can see from the other comments, many people wants shoulders, too. Maybe what they need to do is offer the head AND the shoulder for each set whenever it comes up.

    They need to increase the number of drops at the Golden, anyway, because there are so many more sets in the game now than when they first set it up.

    I actually disagree.

    Head is easier to get than shoulder for me. I just run it with some friends two or three times and someone will get the weight I want by then.

    But, I appreciate not everyone can do harder dungeons, so heads aren't that easy.

    But I don't find spending 30 keys on boxes until I get a weight I want a good use of my time.

    Hence why it's good that head and shoulders are on the golden.

    One of the purposes of the golden is so that PvPers don't have to constantly PvE to get undaunted stuff. So no, they shouldn't remove shoulders from the golden. They are the best item in there for that goal
