Deadly Strike set is weird

Increase the damage your Physical, Bleed, Poison, and Disease Damage over time and channeled abilities do by 20%.
It doesnt inrcrease dmg from channeling abilities like dizzy swing or mist form or soul ultimate. So what's the use of this set?

    Dizzy is channel, mist form is channel, soul ultimate is channel, why doesnt it increase dmg?

    Dizzy is a cast, not a channel. Big difference

    Dizzying Swing is not a channeled ability, it just has a cast time. Blood Mist is magic damage, not any of those 4 types. Soul Assault is also magic damage. Deadly only applies to Martial DOTs and channeled abilities.

    Oh thanks, do u know any channeled abilities? like bow ultimate? But channeled must be martial?

    Flurry and morphs, Rapid Fire and morphs, Biting Jabs. Deadly only applies to Martial DOTs and Martial channeled abilities, yes. Martial is Physical, Bleed, Poison or Disease damage.

    Cast time = Use Ability > Delay > Ability fires
    Channeled = Use ability > Ability in Use for the channel time

    read th skill description. it will say channel ability if it is

    just read skills and it wil say channel. mist form says instant cast... thats not channel

    Isn't mist form a toggle now, like overload? I haven't used it in years. It activates and stays on until you turn it off again,or you deplete whatever resource is keeping it active.

    It's a channeled skill, it procs soulshine, mother ciannit etc.

    I used to not like this set in the past on stamplar, but I kinda warmed up to it.

    It's really only worth if you can boost more than just your jabs with it.

    Toxic barrage is a channel, the morph of the bow ultimate that (almost) no one uses, as is the unmorphed form. It should be boosted by the set but I haven't tested. I don't know if Ballista would count though.
