The new Champion Point update made me the epitome of Glass Cannon (I have questions)

With the original system my StamBlade build had I believe an unbuffed Wep Dmg of 3.5k and I could get that over 4k with a potion. With the new CP after a Pot I can get well over 5k, it's insane. My armor resistances however took a big hit, although I think I'm managing. Was still able to solo a World Boss as well as complete Black Drake Villa on Normal solo.

My questions though,

1. Where exactly did the CP buffs to Physical and Spell Resistance go? I could only find the stars that affect damage taken from types.

2. Were Crit Chance sources nerfed? My Khajiit were built around doing Critical damage but their chance percentages took a big hit, around 10% loss. I can't make use of all the critical damage done modifiers if I can't actually do consistent crit damage.

3. I'm also curious what happened to the old CP passive buffing damage done to Off Balance enemies. I doesn't seem to be a CP bonus anymore, is it even around at all? The only reason my Sorc used Wall of Elements was to proc Off Balance to make use of that.

    1. Red tree (top left corner, slottable) and blue tree, in the purple sub tree to the left (damage reductions)

    2. Yes, critical scores are lowered from armor sets (see patch notes)

Ironclad in the Fitness tree and Bulwark in Warfare give a little armor, although the total amount you can now obtain has been decreased by a fairly substantial number. I would advise grabbing Boundless Vitality and maybe Duelist's Rebuff instead.

Yes. If you are playing Khajiit, consider picking up a second critical chance set to mitigate the loss, or just rolling with it; certain sets like Tzogvin actually saw an increase in their critical chance where other sets were nerfed, and may be worth considering now.

Well that's kinda poo. I guess I may just have to either deal with it, or just ignore the damage done buffs and just build for straight base damage.

In OTHER news, I am just tickled about what the CP rework is doing to my characters.

My StamKnight melted the Reaper's Henge world boss when I went for a test run. Realizing I can't realistically build for Crit anymore I'm just dumping onto my characters' spell and weapon damage stats.

You can still build for Crit. On stam, that means Leviathan set + dual wield daggers / bow, and whatever that gives more crit.
Such build also implies you get a character that is dedicated to crit and may be lacking in other stats, I wouldn't advise that unless you run a Sorcerer (due to how Crit surge works) or a Nighblade (due to class passives).

On other classes, you would probably more benefit from penetration, stamina and raw damage.

My StamBlade uses Leviathan and dual daggers, and with a Pot AND a few skills from the Assassination tree her crit chance only gets just above 50%. Before the CP rework using a Pot got it over 70%. The loss is so substantial it just doesn't seem worth it anymore.
