I'm looking for spots to check for provisioning recipes, namely, level 45-49 Daggerfall Covenant furniture locations.

Any tips? I've been using Hallin's Stand, but is there a better spot?

I thought that all alliances lvl 45-50 zones were in Coldharbour?
Also, I'm not sure if recipes you receive are dependent on the zone you're in, unless somebody has done comprehensive research on the subject.
(That means gathering data and analyzing it)

Anecdotally, they seem to be dependent on the zone you're in.

I forget, is 45-49~ Alik'r or Bangkorai? The only provisioning recipe I saw the entirety of Alik'r was one that a group member looted in the 4-man dungeon. By the time I left Alik'r my bank and inventory were overflowing with Alik'r-level ingredients.

When I finally continued the main quest in a Coldharbour setting, either gray or yellow at that point, I looted a *lot* of Alik'r-level recipes.

Someone else posted the same thing about recipe drops for Alik'r not too long ago, so I'm curious whether there's a loot table issue.

So I can confirm a few things, after some experimentation..

This is post-patch 1.0.5, it may have been different previously, and/or this behavior may not be working as intended.

Provisioner recipe 'drops' from furniture (which is what I was original intent behind what I was asking) are potentially dependent on the CHARACTER level. (at least, this is true at VR1)

In particular, I've tested in every Daggerfall Zone, looted until I found a green recipe, and now that I'm VR1, I only get VR5 recipes. I do not get level 50 recipes, VR5 (provisioning 6 required) ONLY.

I even went back to Daggerfall Castle, VR5 recipes ONLY.

Now, this doesn't mean you can't find level-appropriate ingredients. You can, and they're found in the different areas as expected. But recipe generation, as of today, is character-level dependent. Now I have this huge gap for recipes I can't fix, with this character.

Of course, it would have been nice to know this at level 49. Although, it may not have helped, I don't know.

Now I have to level up a character to 45/46/49 just to test this. :(

Ingredients depend on area lvl, not sure about recipes. On lvl 18 I've found lvl 40 recipes in riften, but also lvl 20.

hm, maybe it's based on provisioning skill, then? that would be kind of odd, but it could be true (I'm 50 provisioning now)

Can anyone confirm who has 25 provisioning skill that they only get level 20-30 recipes
    OR
Can anyone else confirm their character level affects the recipes they find, and they have no provisioning skill?

I agree. I went back to Khenarthi's Roost (level 4 starter zone) and i'm finding blue recipes according to my character and provisioning level and skill.

Used a level 17 alt, to test, that has zero Provisioning skill.

Tried in Crosswych and Daggerfall castle, both the same, I only found recipes that used Combwort and Dark Bile, which are for level 20 useable items.

I'm not sure where the cut-off point is, but if a 17 loots level 20 ingredients, it would seem that you may always loot character_level+(1 < - > 5).
That is, a level 14 likely would see level 15-19 recipes, but a level 15 would likely see only level 20 recipes.

Leading me to believe a level 45 would be the earliest one could start finding level 50 (and not VR1) provisioning recipes.
