Does Brands of Imperium set affect pet?

For example my group has 4 people, all of them are sorc, each of them has 2 pets for a total of 8 pets. When imperium proc, does it shield my pet and leave heroes unbuff? When i use Obsidian Shield, it does proc on pet and leave heroes unbuff. Dont know about imperium.
