SOLVED - CP and Passives Bugged - Please Fix

Update: This was a gamebreaking CP Bug brought about by Update 29. My blue CP were not working. The technical issue has been fixed, the moral issue is beyond repair.

I had to wait 18 days to get it fixed. In the meantime had to drop out of my prog group due to support's complete lack of communication... and lost interest for the game.
Been playing 3 years - ZOS broke my game, took away my pleasure in it , and the fix came too late. Because of the absence of communication, I really don't care anymore.

my advice....take a good look at your stats and CP after this update, do some testing - don't trust that everything is OK if something looks or feels a little off.

I have been writing to support for 8 days now trying to speak to a human being, because in all of those 8 days all I got was a single BOT reply inviting me to submit a useless /bug report.
I'm desperate for somebody to fix my game. I've been playing for over 3 years, and it's not worth the aggravation of fighting to be put into the condition to play anymore, so this is my last effort to get it fixed. I am playing on PC EU.

After Update 29, my blue CP especially is in various stages of BROKEN and the bugs are INCAPACITATING, as I'm doing (or was doing before Patch 29) endgame content and no longer questing, which is the only thing I can do atm with my game in this condition.
The issues are account wide on all 12 of my characters, with or without addons installed. I consulted with a few friends trying to pinpoint the issues, and their only advice was literally to " ask for my money back because my game is buggy af." LOL Shout out to Ramiro Cruzoe and Eymix for the help!

The problems especially seem to regard the blue CP.
Fighting Finesse doesn't seem to function, but Backstabber does (until yesterday CMX was not showing Backstabber, has been fixed). My passive stars don't seem to be working or only partially, my stamina and critical damage values are the same with CP slotted or without.

I'm a little overwhelmed at this point, I don't even know what else could be wrong. Oh yeah...obviously there's a visual bug you see in advanced stats...not just visual

could someone with the power to FIX my game, please fix it? Look at my info, dialogue with me - tell me it's not broken, is broken, you can fix, you can't fix, you don't want to fix it.
At this point anything is fine....just please tell me something so I can either play or decide what to do with my game.

Advanced Stats is bugged so it never shows critical damage. They’ve been aware of this since the PTS but haven’t fixed it yet. It will only reflect a 10% increase in other types of damage when you slot damage stars that cover all your skills (try Deadly Aim and Biting Aura, or all three, because Biting Aura and Thaumaturge do not cover all your skills together).

When I tested Fighting Finesse manually (without Combat Metrics, on a mob), using only two daggers equipped with no other gear and no other blue CP stars slotted, I saw the advertised 10% increase in critical damage.

95% looks right for a stamplar on 6m:
50% base
10% Aedric Spear passive
10% Barber Trap
10% Fighting Finesse
15% Backstabber

Check to ensure you successfully unslotted the stars you’re trying to test between parses.

My CMX doesn't show any increase in crit damage with CP slotted no matter the combination. My Tireless Discipline passive in the blue tree is maxed and not working.
I've been testing various combinations of everything for a week, but I'll give your method a try

As an aside, 1400 pen is pretty abysmal, you want that at least up and around the 10k mark. I'd suggest making your main weapon sharpened and taking the lover mundus at least. Swapping out some crit and/or weapon damage should result in much higher DPS.

I realize it's abysmal....maybe it's bugged? LOL

I'm using DW daggers in this parse, nirnhoned main hand, sharpened offhand
I don't use Lover mundus - I do competitive PvE, not PvP.

Sorry about the typo. 3m and 6m shouldn’t have any differences with respect to crit damage or other stats other than health of the dummy.

CMX has not always accurately reflected things like crit damage in the past. As recently as December it had to be updated for changes from Markarth, iirc. But 95% crit damage is what I would expect of a self-buffed stamplar on your dummy with FF and Backstabber, and if CMX is still showing 95% after you have double-checked that you’ve removed both those stars, then I suspect an issue with CMX.

Tireless Discipline gives max stamina. Is that not being reflected in your stats at all? It is working for me. But again, you have to be sure to hit Confirm — just putting in points or taking them out without confirming doesn’t change anything. I just double checked now that the stamina stat on my character sheet shows the difference between 0 points in TD and 40 points in it.

ETA: CP in Piercing will help your penetration. And a precise mace will outperform a sharpened dagger: precise gives 3.6% crit to the dagger’s 3.4%, while the mace will give 1650 pen to the sharpened trait’s 1638. Very minor difference, but a precise mace is objectively an improvement.

Edited again to add: I removed FF and Backstabber and got the expected 70% crit damage in CMX. I believe the add-on is accurate.

I reinstalled CMX and parsed with it before and after reinstall - to my knowledge it is up to date as of yesterday last change log. And yeah, I confirm my choices when changing and or removing CP.

I just want support to contact me about my ticket and look at what I sent them.

You can sometimes get more eyes on your ticket by tagging BillE here to ensure it's in the right place. In the meantime, if you are repeatedly updating the same support ticket without getting a response, I believe it puts you in the back of the queue. It may take a few days (if not a week or potentially even longer) for a human to respond. Keep in mind too that Support isn't able to debug anything. If they can't figure it out, they will ask you to file a /bug report for the devs and leave it at that.

In the meantime, for my own edification, can you tell me how you're reaching 95% crit damage without Fighting Finesse? I'm curious to know if I've missed something.

He's only using the pen from the CP tree as his total pen is 1400 (the max now available from the CP system), not getting any pen from anywhere else (apart from the one sharpened dagger), even for PVE this should be up to 10k or so before buffs from others. If it's not but you have 4K+ weapon damage or over 50% crit then you should be swapping out that "extra" crit and weapon damage for pen.

I run with optimized groups that provide all the buffs I need to reach pen cap with Thief or Shadow, under normal conditions.

I get 95% crit damage without any blue CP slotted at all, naked blue bar, and I get 95% crit with all blue CP slotted, among which Fighting Finesse. That belongs to the bug I posted here about. I believe it shouldn't work that way.
