The following sets no longer proc off each tick of a shock staff heavy attack and instead only proc at the end of a full heavy attack. This is a 75% nerf for the 5th piece bonus of the sets listed below. I have to believe it was unintentional and not planned because a 75% damage nerf completely destroys an already inferior heavy attack build.

Ringod123✭✭✭Sound like they fixed a bug to me, no way should stuff be proccing off the first few ticks from a lightning staff if it needs a heavy attack to proc.4

✭✭Infallible aether got changed a long time ago. That was one of the reasons healers stopped running it. You would literally just be heavy attacking everything to keep the debuff up, which wardens now provide via a skill.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Are you saying the extra damage from IA doesn’t work on the channeled ticks? Or just that the Minor Vuln is applied with the final pulse (this one has been back and forth a couple times)?
Have you checked the Maelstrom Staff effect with Lightning Heavies?0 -

✭✭I've never bothered with heavy attack builds so I'm unsure on what goes on with them. I had only used it on healers for minor vuln. It went from proccing on the first tick to the final, which made it kinda useless. This was like a year ago.0 -
These armor sets together with the shock staff heavy attack were also discussed in the German forum. For me this sounds more like a bug fix than a bug, because I think the set damage should only be counted once (like for the other weapons) and not at every tick of the heavy attack in case of a shock staff ...Edited by Mirona_Thetin on March 17, 2021 3:47PM1
