Vvardenfell Scale Model where are the rubbings in inventory?

OK I went after the Vvardenfell Scale Model and managed to get all 30 rubbings today. I go to turn them and the librarian says thanks and that's it. Perhaps I missed on but cannot find them in my inventory at all. They count as inventory from what I've read but my inventory is at 53 so they look like they are not there. I went back to a few tombs to see if perhaps I had to run in one at a time but the tombs do not let me interact with them so the game is acting like I have them. I went through my inventory slowly and nothing, any ideas?

Don't you have to talk to him again, to get the follow-on quest to hunt for the Library?

If you turn them in they disappear from your inventory.

If you've talked to him then the map on the ground floor should be more filled in. The rubbings disappear from inventory once you turn them in. They don't stay there. You can also check out the zone map guide to see which ones you're missing.

Check your lore library for Morrowind and it will tell you which are missing

If he turned in 30, none are missing. The next thing is talk to the Librarian again to get the quest to find the "missing" library - and look at the only "not there" part on the map to get a clue where it is (though of course there's an in game map cue as well).

I'm assuming he'd see the quest and not be looking for pieces if he had all of them. I'm guessing he missing like one of them and figuring out which he's missing will help him.

Also looking at my comment should have said check achievements not lore library, my bad.

OP is probably missing one. I certainly did on my first go at the quest. I tried finding it on my own and then cracked after spending a few hours wandering around.

    Quick guide:
    https://alcasthq.com/eso-ancestral-tombs-hunter-achievement-morrowind/

After finding all of the rubbings and turning in everything (which they will disappear from inventory), you'll get the title and he'll give you the next quest. A quick simple check in the acheivements list or zone guide will tell you what you're missing.

Any rubbings I haven't turned in show up in inventory under:
"Inventory -> Miscellaneous -> Trophies" on PC UI mode, or
"Inventory -> Supplies -> Trophy" on gamepad UI mode.

When you get the actual Vvardenfell Scale Model, it will show up under:
"Collections -> Furnishings -> General" (both PC UI mode and gamepad UI mode).

I know OP isn't new to the game, but in case we get any newer players hitting this thread....Like others said, the achievements (accessible from the Quest Journal) will tell you what you're missing, if anything. :) Go to:
"Journal -> Achievements -> Morrowind -> General -> Ancestral Tomb Hunter" (first achieve listed! Both PC and gamepad UI modes.)

Thank you everyone it was all helpful. I didn't know the model in the library filled in when I turned in a piece. I was missing one. This last part was also helpful to confirm which one i was actually missing. I think what happened is I turned in all 30 or so I thought at the same time and all 29 disappeared from my inventory without me paying attention. Thanks!
