I don't know, but in case it don't, don"t worry, and ask for a refund. It'll be undoubtedly granted.

I usually buy upgrade codes on green man gaming and redeem them on ESO account page. yes for my steam copy. been working for multiple expansions so far, including Greymoor. easiest way for you to test is to hop into the game and see if it lets you travel to West Skyrim. if yes? then you are just fine.

As far as I know, it's all connected to-- i.e., determined by-- your ESO account, which should be linked to your Steam account. As long as you buy an ESO expansion, or crowns pack, etc., using your ESO account, I think it should automatically show up in ESO when you log in through Steam.

Likewise, if you earn a Twitch drop for an ESO crown crate, it should automatically show up when you log in through Steam as long as your Twitch account is linked with your ESO account and your ESO account is linked with your Steam account.

Hmmm, it's not showing up on my steam for some reason.

It would seem to me that if it wouldn't work out wouldn't let me update it on the eso account.

Yes. DLCs are bound to your account regardless of where you log in.
