Camouflaged Hunter IV

sami.uotilaeb17_ESO
Hi,

It says revealed can not return to Stealth or Invisibility for 3 seconds, but it feel like after 1 sec they are gone again. Is there some how a way around this rule, pots etc?

The revealment comes with such delay that Stealther usually manages to pull their Suprise moves "long" after my Camouflaged animation has finnished, why or just lag?

And finally being so expencive (4100stam) ability it feels like you really need to stand on top of Stealther to pull this off? Sometimes I have spammed 3 and still they manage pull "Steath attack" on me.

Maybe lover the cost, increase radius or do something to make it more usefull. Thoughts?

Thanks for reading!

You will have every NB soon in this thread telling you how easily cloak gets broken and that there are so many counterplay options and l2p.

Yeah, I agree with you. IMO the best counter to cloak is the NB skill Piercing Mark because it's near instant and ranged. A good NB player will still be able to escape.

Edit: Just to clarify one thing, the NB skill Surprise attack will stun you if they flank you, not just from stealth.

^^this. Sometimes I slot a reveal skill and play hunt the hunter on other NBs and NB Mark skills are by far the most reliable. The mage guild one is okay and camouflage hunter and pots seem the least effective. Mark works best as it's free so you simply keep throwing it down. The time limits on the others definitely feel a bit 'off' , but then so does getting pulled from cloak by a light attack.

Use that skill to find out if there are any stelth enemies when you get a keep in Cyrodiil.
When fighting NB in battle, you can easily kill it by using potion or AoE.

while camoflage hunter hast to low range to the point of that u could just as well use an aoe ability it has passive damage boost that radiant light hasnt. radiant light is the one skill made to screw up nightblades and its pretty good at that. radiant light also has the passive that u -cant be stunned from stealth-. radiant light has 12 m range camo hunter only 6 m

if that skill doesnt help then its l2p problem but u could try the last thing u could resort to which is reveal pots those are game breaking against an NB that uses stealth.

i would like to know which class u play.
in general NB is lowtier they are easy to deal with usually. the bigger problem in their toolset is shade teleportation its similar annoying to sorc streak.

Personal exp: camo hunter works for me i never had problems with it but then again im exp player so i know where the nb will be if he goes stealth. alternatively use dual wield spin to win it will also screw them up bad. different classes also have different counters especially dk has alot nb killing tools

special advice.... weave in heavy attacks when u use twohanded it will pull them out of stealth

    case closed

enjoy the nightblade ragers i had a folder of those pics but deleted them. i got these from my discord. (see it as compliment and stay calm if this happens to u)

Camo Hunter & Magelight have not worked properly for a long, long time. You're better off using an AoE damage skill to take nightblades out of stealth—it costs way less, does damage, and is more likely to actually work.

One of the best ways to learn how to hunt nightblades in cloak is to learn how to play one. Then you get a sense for where a nightblade would want to go, and for where they expect to be safe.

Meteor (Mages Guild ult) is another great anti-nightblade skill I use often—and stam players can use it, too. All you need is ONE second of sight on nightblades. They can't rolldodge it, but you gotta be ready to reach them and burst them down when the meteor hits in a few seconds. Some classes are better at that than others. Eye of the Storm (Destruction Staff ult) also works if you can be faster than the nightblade.

Sometimes the best way is to just wait for them to reveal themselves and overcommit to their offense. Use your heals-over-time and buffs, maybe block and be ready to roll dodge.

As a Nightblade who prefers playing without invisibility, I take a lot of joy in hunting down sneakblades in battlegrounds, but rarely ever use Magelight for it.

I started to use Camouflaged Hunter IV recently and somehow all visible creatures in PVE now have a weird smoke effect around them. I have no idea what it means and whats it for, but looks like the only way to prevent it to happen is removing the skill from the bar. Is it a bug?

It used to be a thing that all undead and vamos lit up white similar to that when cami hunter was slotted. I mean, you could see who was a vamp in PVP because of it. Maybe a leftover.

I understand it on PVP, but on PVE it's weird. I can't find a reason for that light effect over all visible creatures.
