Master Gatherer not working

So I have spent a lot of points filling up the tree to Master Gatherer, activated it, and then went out farming.

Having the skill fully activated makes no difference to not having it at all. I tested it on three characters and asked two friends to do the same and we all had the same results. First, we thought it's just the animation that is messed up but even when timing the action there is NO difference between having the Master Gatherer or not.

I mean you made it a lot more expensive and difficult to obtain - at least make it work?

    I noticed two things: If you slot the passives BEFORE confirming points, it works fine. If you slot the passive AFTER confirming points, you have to confirm again in order for them to work; this includes adding them as fresh slot or replacing a slot even though they show up being slotted in there.

    Did you slot it in the little circles at top of screen? Most of the CP system (especially in the green tree) now needs to be slotted like abilities. Just putting the points into Master Gatherer does nothing. You need to put the points into it and then drag and drop it into the CP ability bar at top of screen.

    Worked fine for me maxed out. If you slotted it, try relogging.

    And not only do you have to confirm again in that second case, but the 30-second cooldown means it’s very easy for the game to reject your new setup with the message “one or more champion points cannot be slotted” (or something to that effect). You have to make sure it stays slotted and doesn’t get rejected by the server.

    They did this because of the possibility of circumventing the limitation on 4 slottables by addon automation, by equipping relevant slottable when performing certain actions.
    That annoying dude on PC-EU.

    No add-on can slot more than 4 slottables or circumvent the cooldown. If they wanted to ban the add-on, it would be more effective to change the API than institute a cooldown that affects all users, since we can manually swap nodes much faster than 30 seconds. I've run into the cooldown issue on multiple characters without the add-on.

    The add-on isn't any different than something like Lazy Writ Crafter. It can't do anything other than automate what we can do manually.
