Looking in the new CP, on the green tree - what is Weapon Enchant decay, mentioned in the Steadfast Enchantment node? I was looking around for an explanation, and had no luck.

It's how fast your enchant wears off and you need to charge your wep using soul gem.

It means that the enchantment (e.g. +1500 Shock Damage) on your weapon decays slower, so you can get more hits with that bonus before it runs out and you have to use a soul gem to recharge it.

You know, for the kind of people who somehow don't already have so many spare soul gems that it actually doesn't matter how fast your weapon runs out of enchantment. For people whose main source of damage is still light and heavy attacks rather than skills.

Oh wait, those people don't HAVE cps yet - unless they're the newly-made extra characters on an account which already has enough CPs to spend to get that passive which has half a dozen pre-requisites before you even get to it. And even then, anyone who has CPs already has hundreds of spare soul gems.

Honestly, that skill's only possible use is as a CP-point tax before you can get to a more useful passive on the other side of it (and I forget what said more-useful passive is).

Yah there are a couple stars that make no sense when you consider where you must be CP wise and character development wise. This one, the War Horse one both have the same "if you have enough CP to spend on this star you have enough X to not need to."

Also keep in mind that the Infused trait and the Torug's Pact set also reduce the cooldown of your weapon enchantment, so they lose charge faster than your average weapon, which makes this a very useful passive.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

My two thousand or so banked soul gems say: "No, not really. It just isn't."

Look, at least it's a passive so it doesn't take a slot. And since none of my characters really have a use for inspiration anymore, I use it to cross over to the harvesting nodes. I mean, I shan't say no to it, but that node is a very very low priority to max out. Hell, I regularly just vendor off soul gems in batches of 200. Besides, if you use poisons, it's even more irrelevant.

Trials don't give soul gems..so if you mess up balance between adventures you could be lacking
