    Absolutely not.

    You need to unlock its prereqs, which require only the first stage of each node in the way.

    Fastest way is probably: 10 Gilded Fingers, 10 Fortune’s Favor, 15 Wanderer, 10 Steadfast Enchantment, 50 Treasure Hunter.

    Total green CP spent: 95. Total CP required: under 300.

    You don't need to upgrade one skill fully to have the directly related ones unlocked.

    The better question : is it worth it early on to grab or can it wait? Like does it still affect only maps or is it all chests?

    It has always has and still does affect all treasure chests you open and makes the loot in them better.
