40.000 Magicka cap

Hello,
As per title, I noticed that my Magicka stat is capped at exactly 40k (as in 40000). Prior to the update, it was around 43k (43xxx).
Unequipping +stamina pieces/skills brings it below 40k, but never above it. Is there something I overlooked? I saw nothing in the patch notes about it, plus I've seen other people complaining about the same issue (whereas a guy in the zone chat said he was sitting at 55k for what's worth).
Anyone else?

✭✭✭✭They've removed the 20% bonus from investing cp into the blue tree, that may be your culprit2 -
