Simple question : advice on front bar/ back bar

Hey, there.

I'm currently wearing siroria + medusa + maelstom. I'm frontbarring siroria.
It works great, but outside the 21mil dummy, the systain's not so good. Especially in 4 man content.

Right now, I'm in the process of farming perfected false god.
What would be a better front bar. Medusa or perfected false god?
I spend little time on my backbar, and crit modifiers carry over on all dots (even ST ones), so, it's hard to say..

(I'll have to farm either a medusa inferno or a pFG inferno ..both still eludes me ..)

Any advice?
Thanks.

FGD on body is better. If your target dies while you're on the back bar you won't get any resources with FGD back bar only. You also won't get any cost reduction while you're casting those expensive aoe dots on your back bar.

I'd wait for tomorrow. CP 2.0 launches and 2 new stars are introduced in place of the old 12-15% magicka recovery you probably had. Instead, there is 2 slottables for the red tree for the following:
    • +1500 magicka return when landing the killing blow on an enemy.
    • +150 stam/mag/health recovery.

Judging by your setup, you probably didn't have a lot of magicka recovery invested so the +12-15% loss for +150 mag recovery is most likely going to either break even or be much better.

To make this clearer: You start with about 514 magicka recovery for being level 50. To get the same benefit of +150 mag recovery from CP 2.0 (remember, this gets buffed by multipliers), you'd need a base magicka recovery of close to 1500 (225 gain from 15% in CP 1.0).

So yeah, your sustain should increase. This is without considering the 1500 magicka return on killing blows if you choose to slot that. The red CP is very flexible.

    I'm going with:
    • HP
    • Armor
    • 150 Regen
    • 15% shield damage done and shield size (flexible in solo content for 1500 return on kill)
    PC Beta - 2200+ CP

Siroria is not that great in dungeons because you're moving alot, doing mechanics etc. FG is better for dungeons and wherever theres alot of trash. Next patch you may not need it tho cos sustain will be better due to hp increase. We will have 17-18k hp without food so we can use parse food.

    Ah, yes, the patch, true.

However, I wonder about the return star on kills.
pFG returns resources when an enemy I have damaged dies. It's usefull in trial and dungeons all around.
The star returns resources whn I land "a killing blow". While I'll probably kill 1/2 of the adds in dungeons, in trial, it's a bit of a gamble, with 8-9 DPS wailing away at everything.

Also, the fish bowl still brings more magicka than the parse food. So, using parse food still imply around a 100SD loss (a little over 1000 max mag). Not a lot, but to be taken into account.

    Since I have non-perfect siro, I'd have

    1000mag + 129 SD + 520 SD (best case) VS (pFG) 2 x 633 criticals + 129 SD + 1000mag (fish bowl instead of parse food)

So, the real question is, wich is better : 520 SD or 1266 critical?

I'll wait a bit, and probable start farming a medusa inferno.(anyway, I intend to farm both)
