I was watching vids where the curators characters move like lightning, carving their way through dungeons like a knife through butter. On particular one last night a necro with a broadsword I think, was moving like grease ****. So I look to my own necro with broadsword and he moves like he is wearing lead boots, has two broken legs and is walking trough glue.
What am I missing here?

✭✭✭✭✭While a great deal of apparent speed comes from the familiarity of having done some of these dungeons hundred times or more, I think a good starting point might be to ask "What's my DPS?"
If you haven't done it for a awhile, it can be a good practice to do a DPS parse on a training dummy.
If you want more specific help, posting your build will let players offer advice that's more tailored to your playstyle.2 -

✭✭1) Have you lvl up your medium armor skill line? Athletics increases your movement speed.
2) Maybe those you saw in videos were using buffs like Major Expedition.
Dont think there is anything else that can make you run faster.0 -

Ashryn✭✭✭✭✭Perhaps they are also wearing a Ring of the Wild Hunt as well or use the Rapids skill. If I recall some races also have a slight speed edge. I know my wood elf is a lot faster then my High Elf or Breton!1 -
