Splitting up the player base would also help with lag. The select few that are happy about this change can play the way they want. And the rest of the playerbase can enjoy the game as was intended.

Meaning: They will no longer be disabled after U31.we’ll be leaving proc sets disabled until Update 31 launches in Q3.
They'll be able to tweak campaign rules better in the future, as relate to proc sets. You're not tweaking rules of proc sets if you turn them off.At that point, we will have implemented some new code so we can have more flexibility to campaign rulesets as it applies to proc sets.

These changes are happening because someone at ZOS wants it. Not because players are happy with the restrictions and having dozens of gold gear sets being rendered useless as well as all the time it took to farm them.

gonna have to disagree, wolfpaw you got it backwards. most real pvp players don't care about proc sets in the long run as long as they get consistent semi lag free pvp, if they find some noob thats unable to be killed, they move onto the next target. Least thats what everyone i've ever seen running around solo say. If anything i feel like it's the noobs that even in proc sets couldnt kill the players who had a clue and wore proc sets. so it was still a l2p issue.
Too many noobs think proc sets are the end all, too many noobs rely heavily on proc sets, just let the *** be and let us pvp. the constant changes are happening due to all the keyboard warriors on the forums.

With that limited set I woun't even need a crafter bag (ESO Plus). Why do any PVE at all once you get skills leveled up and those sets? Wasted so much time on Mythics as well. Good lord I could have learned another language with the time wasted doing that lol.

And someone at zos wants it because someone bitched about it in game/on the forums, the devs took that bitching and turned it into an idea. And as we've seen for years, the devs usually take the worst ideas and run with em.
TBH i think ZOS is just trying to kill pvp, they copied DAOC's pvp format then decided to not put any real time or effort behind pvp, now it's flopping and zos cant make up their minds about anything. It's honestly a joke at this point.

Wrong, its 3x6 active Cyrodil server. Renting more powerful ones would be much much cheaper than all the mess they do and is pretty expensive. The other activities like Trials, dungeons, BG and overland zones are not server limited so you run many on one server, overland is limited by crowding and client performance in hubs because too many players to render for potatoes. Yes some services like login and dungeon and BG finder has problems on high load but this is probably code.Princessrhaenyra wrote: »

No. Someone at ZOS wants the changes because it's less money going to rent server capacity.

I've never heard PvE players complain about procs, and the monsters they are fighting don't care about getting Zaan'd. This is a PvP problem, obviously.
Also, most of the PvP acquired sets are garbageso that argument doesn't make sense.
I feel damage proc sets deserve it, but no one complained about stat based proc sets , which do not deserve to be disabled.
