Why is this set proc so inconsistent? It procs from Healing Springs but doesnt from Combat Prayer. It also doesnt proc from Enchanted Growth but it procs from Elemental Blockade and Steeltornado?! Pls, someone needs to look into the proc conditions of this set

Krayl✭✭✭✭✭Look a the skill descriptions. Combat Prayer and Enchanted Growth have no "target", whereas Springs, Blockade, and even Tornado have "Target: Area" or "Target:ground".

Although last week on BC2, first boss, one of the dps complained that I was only giving buffs to the tank and other dps (while he was way off to the side). I backbar Olo with most other sets since I use master staff. I proc it with Liquid Lightning with no problem. Warden also has class abilities that leave an affect on the ground. Blood altar will also proc it, as will blockade. I like to use LL because I don't have to be right up where I want to proc it, if I'm not stacked with DPS on some fights.
Edit: I had to log in real quick to double check, but Olo does say that it procs on abilities that leave a ground effect. Combat prayer and enchanted growth doesn't leave a ground effect (but as someone mentioned, budding seeds does). This doesn't explain why tf speel tornado would proc it tho, unless I'm missing something.Edited by RogueShark on December 17, 2018 7:00PMPC NA

✭✭✭✭✭I think we should take a look at proc conditions:
Ground based effect abilities cast apply a circle of might on the ground for 10 seconds. Standing inside the circle grants you and your allies Major Courage, which increases your Weapon Damage and Spell Damage by 258 for 30 seconds. 10 seconds cooldown.
Olorime will only proc from stuff you place on the ground (duh). Enchanted Growth and Combat Praer are conal AoE in front of you and have nothing to do with ground. On the other hand, Springs, WoE, Ritual, Path, LL, Healing Seed, Ash Cloud, and even Hail and Caltrops will proc it. Think I got one from every class?
The only one I find really weird is Steel Tornado. It should not be proccing Olorime.

I wont run Springs when I am doing smallscale in PvP. Springs are only usefull in PvP when stacked.
Guess I will try to rearrange some skills to fit Pollen on my Olo bar

Sounds you are talking about a warden support character. To effectively use backbarred as you said, you got the opportunities to proc it with healing seeds (corrupting pollen), gripping shards or with the ultimate secluded growth. Maybe also the the frozen gate could proc it.
If you say that steeltornado procs it too, then it also might proc from the elemental ring skill (which would require a backbar olo destro staff tough). Needs to be tested tough. Probably same goes aoe aura skills like eye of the noob, norther storm, magicka detonation. Maybe its worth it to test those.0 -

Thanks Check^^ I think I will try Haquors advice since I already have huge problems with not enough slots for skills on my Warden and I dont have any space left to slot Elemental Ring. Sleet doesnt proc Olo neither. Tested it some yesterday with a friend. Thats why I made this thread. In fights you do not stack, you do not always use (back healer/kiter VAS for one example). I proc it with Blockade or Shards in that case, depending.Edited by Mureel on December 18, 2018 1:17PM0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Shards are the easiest way to "control" where the Olorime proc goes. Wall of Elements I've found to be inconsistent in placement (sometimes it's at the healer's feet, sometimes it's at the end of the wall). Healing springs don't work as well, since most healers run Olorime on their lightning bar and either a vAS resto, vMA resto, or Masters Resto depending on the content, so they won't have Olorime 5pc up when on their resto bar. Every class has a class skill that can proc the ability on any class of healer.
The healing springs meta was back in the day when you ran SPC and had to "overheal" to proc SPC. Now that we have Olorime, healers don't have to overheal, so healing springs becomes less useful.
