How to trade items with other players? (sorry for novice question)

One day, suddenly someone contact me on the field about item trade.
But, I don't know how to manipulate this game function yet. So I just ignored.

How to suggest my trading item for person who wants to trade with me?
My playing time Mon-Friday UTC13:00-16:00 [PC-NA] CP over2000 now.
I have [1Tough tank] [1StamSorc-DD] [1Necro-DD] [1Real Healer]
with [1Stam Blade].
But, I'm Tank main player. Recently I'm doing Healer.

    On PC you stand near the player, target them, hold 'F' and select trade on the wheel.
    Don't know how it works in consoles.

    Honestly it's a little cumbersome. After a dungeon it would be nice to go to the Group tab, right-click a member and hit trade but instead you have to run around and find the person in the group.
