What is something in ESO you don't quite get?

✭I don't quite get how when you are in combat you can't mount or pick or interact with anything. I mean an npc chases you for a mile and in that time you can't mount then if you let it catch up to you it runs away unaffected by any damage you inflict on it. The whole thing is incredibly stupid. Like if I am running away and I make it to a door it makes no sense that you can't open it and that you have to wait to be attacked first. This game has an unhealthy obsession with combat. Forcing you to spend 90% of you time killing npc's when fleeing is a perfectly valid option.18 -

I agree! There have been times I've been so p'd off I've chased it back to its spot and killed it.9 -

Or rather they were stealthy, become un-stealthy, and then later on they somehow become stealthy again.
Ah yes, an optimistic meme from the early days of the protest. I think at this point Bosmer won't get their stealth back before we have a new combat team. The sad reality of it and the worst part is that we still don't know the why, making it truly "something in ESO I don't quite get".This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.4 -

To be honest, when I made that I was referring to the stand alone games for “when they get their stealth back”. So technically the Elder Scroll i “transcribed” is correct.1 -

Why don't any boots have heels in eso.
Why do we have style mats anymore they should scrap them for less item clutter to game. Just allow styles to be crafted if style is known.
Why don't we have a dual stat glyph like stam/health, stam/mag, mag/health.
Why do guars have so man effing skins.
Why don't we have naga and pumar raht and ohmes as a playable sub breed qith no stat difference from.their base race counterpart just a visual flavor.

It is a glaring flaw and makes the story anticlimactic & disappointing
Actually I find that refreshing.
Locking story moments in endgame content is one of WoWs biggest flaws. It’s why they made raid finder (that the WoW community complains about constantly) and why they don’t need that here.
Trials have their own story they don’t need to leave the lore community (which tend to not be endgame players) in the cold.
Problem is that the main story bosses are so anticlimactic that it takes the wind of the sails. It just undermines everything and leaves you feeling “That’s it?”5 -

Oh yes, even if your normal easy main story would still exist. And it just had a added optional hard mode that was actually a challenge and engaging for a different portion of the player base.

Doesn't matter what alliance you're in, doesn't matter what level you are or whether you've saved a town's bacon, the average guard is still going to be snippy at you as you go by. "What do you want?" "I'm BUSY." "WHAT!!" Jeez. If they'll treat a hero like that how are they treating the townsfolks and why would people tolerate that? Why am I expected to put up with a constant daily barrage of that attitude while I'm working for their *boss*? And why be nasty to someone who is saving your town, anyway? Tiresome and baffling.6 -

I collect the recipes in game, and then use interesting ones to make real recipes. My daughter is a particular fan of garlic cod with potato crust and kwama scrib risotto (garlic panko crumb on cod loin with straw potatoes on top, and chicken biryani when translated to earth food )
I don't get where creatures like sea vipers have pockets to hide that resto staff I pick up, or where their feet are when I collect a pair of rubedo leather boots.Soupy twist7 -

They keep on nerfing damage dealer but we already have unkillable class like warden and necro, also add the werewolf skill line in those unkillable.

There are a million players of that class/level, and quite honestly that means nothing to us, we accept player of any skill/level. We turn down 10 times more apps than we accept and are constantly near capacity so no, your name and level isn't good enough. We have built an awesome community and prefer to keep it that way, so we don't take chances joining rando's who couldn't bother to put more than a pre-filled in name & level on their application. It is an application after all, if someone can't bother to fill it out, we can't bother to think twice about it.2 -
