... I lose all motivation. Unlocking all those shrines, hunting skyshards, levelling all necessary skill lines, horse training, trait research, bag space upgrades, even just adjusting settings for the new alt... And I'm not even mentioning quests. Frankly given how long loading screens are, it's a pain to even relog. Every time I make a new alt, I end giving up on them within an hour or so.
Idk, building my main who is CP600ish atm took so much effort and sacrifices, that I can't bring myself to even do 10% of that again. I'd very much rather complete all content on one character - which tbf is immersion-breaking, because one person cannot be savior, fighter, mage, crafter, fisher, thief, assassin, explorer, undaunted, alliance warrior, duelist, trader, etc... but I guess this is the lesser of two evils.
Not complaining about the game, just laying out how lazy I am, I guess. Wondering if any minority feels the same? I know there's an altmania going around, which is understandable, given the vast content of this game.
The way I deal with this is head-canoning that after the main quest, the power of the Red Diamond still lingers in my main, making him essentially a god... so he can walk the lands of Tamriel and be everywhere, and do everything, and save (or kill) everyone.Versispellis wrote: »I have a main that I main hard. New cp system gonna take a lot longerYeah it takes about a good year to fully max out a character... Not sure I have the time for this. Wish we could change classes but oh well. I'd like to do it again but I don't really have the motivation

Exactly this! I just want to try out other classes but I literally can't because of how poorly this is designed. So eventually I will get bored with the game and stop paying ESO+. I would pay a lot for class change tokens though.Exactly, not to mention having to do every single quest again. Too annoying. All I want to do is just play a different class after all this time and not lose progress.
That's a very fair point! My main class was one of the main reasons I bought the game. The fact that I can't bother playing an alt for more than 10 minutes probably means I don't like the class.winterscrolls229prerb18_ESO wrote: »This only bothered me before i found my class.
Once i found the warden everything made sense, and all the epic work just reinforces how i didn't like any other class anyway.
Ironically once you're good with the fact that you'll only ever need that one character, rolling alts becomes appealing again.
