Are solo arena weapons on smart drop? Ie. like the battleground motifs

I'm finally getting around to redoing vet Maelstrom to upgrade my weapons to perfected. Ive done it like 6 times so far and i've gotten a different weapon each time (of course nothing I wanted). I'm wondering/hoping with the sticker book now maybe they changed the drops to a smart drop, or am I just having wishful thinking?

✭Nope. Expect to get doubles the more you run the arenas. I still haven't refarmed all my Master's and Maelstrom weapons since they made a perfected version bc I keep getting the same weapons, so I just gave up. Plus, the weaps are backbar for me, so there's no DPS decrease if I continue using the old (now normal) vMA weapons.0 -

thanks...well, that sucks...i'm in the same boat and for the same reason didn't want to bother redoing it...maybe its something they can implement in the near future, because there really is no reason to get multiple copies of the weapons anymore now that we have the sticker book.0 -

✭✭Not only nope to your question, but (last I heard, anyway) the drops from BGs unfortunately don't work that way either. You do have a chance to roll dupe style pages -- the game simply doesn't award them to you when they roll. So the more pages you collect, the less and less often you'll get a drop at all. So the drops aren't as smart as they seem.

Having done hundreds of battlegrounds I'm pretty certain this is correct.Not only nope to your question, but (last I heard, anyway) the drops from BGs unfortunately don't work that way either. You do have a chance to roll dupe style pages -- the game simply doesn't award them to you when they roll. So the more pages you collect, the less and less often you'll get a drop at all. So the drops aren't as smart as they seem.
