Volenfell Ebon Wolf lead not dropping

I've been running Volenfell dungeon for several days, multiple times a day and I am not getting the lead. I've done it on characters that do have excavation and Scrying and done it on characters that do not. I know it's a rare lead but after a few days of grinding the same dungeon I am convinced it is not dropping as intended

✭✭✭Did it 13 times on my main toon in a single day (it was one of the pledges) until someone in my guild suggested switching toon - got it on the next try.

preamp✭✭I was beginning to think it was bugged after soloing Volenfell some 20 odd times (and getting majorly sick of it) but it finally dropped.

belfong✭✭I ran two vet with PUGs and didn’t get any drop. Then I ran a third time on Normal and it dropped! Lucky, I’m guessing.0 -
