Clockwork City Furnishing Pack Question

The Fabrication Sphere with the furnishing pack shows active but when you purchase the item it is inactive. Is there any way to activate this? I have attached it to walls and other lights, still inactive.

Seravi✭✭✭✭✭It isn't a matter of turning it on or off either. It seems to need some type of power. Maybe it only works in the Clockwork City home? So irritating...0

✭✭✭✭✭There is no "powering" items in ESO housing. It either has a toggleable feature or it doesn't. The sphere doesn't - it will never illuminate by itself. The most you can do is throw some other light source inside of it. I would experiment for you to make suggestions, but I cannot add furnishings to my house any more to test this for you.1 -

What's that? I don't think I've ever seen it.
I would probably just stuff a clockwork city light inside it. There is a smaller one and the light radius on them is not too obnoxious and the aesthetic would match.0 -
