Taller, yes. But also quite chonky. So if you need height without adding massive width then the Markarth platforms won't be any better than the Alinor ones. If you're not too attached to *plain* white stone walls - then the geometric white-and-gold Markarth items (3, 4) might be a good thin and tall option. Or the Solitude Platform, which is white and blue (and thin and tall but one side is wood - 7).
