WHEW sorry everyone for forgetting a few biggies. I knew I was forgetting SOMETHING.
As per the title, what's your favorite non-combat activity, in terms of being fun?
I know often times thieving involves murder but not always so eh.
Hoping for more playable races

    I voted exploring which for me includes farming. I love farming crafting mats.

    Bought Greymoor over the weekend for The antiquities but that’s not as much fun as I’d hoped. A bit tedious.

    My favorite is ''solo roleplay'' which according to some people I've talked to doesn't count as roleplay (as in organized sessions with other people), so if that doesn't count then my favorite is a tie between furnishing and dressing up.

    It is impossible to think of everything that one might consider an activity! I wouldn’t have thought to include trading either as I treat it just as if I have something to sell or if I need to track something down, a means to an end rather than what I would consider an enjoyable activity but others will see it differently and enjoy finding deals, flipping or no doubt other aspects I haven’t thought of. :)

    I enjoy a variety of activities depending on my mood. While furnishing is my favorite, I find exploring and gathering mats to be relaxing. :blush:

    Theorycrafting. The chase for that next PVP build combo that no one has thought to try out yet in each current meta is never-ending. Just spending hours reading 5-piece set bonuses, seeing if you missed any obvious combo of abilities. Going through your storage chests, character inventories, etc seeing what gear you currently have access to, testing different setups on ESO build editor, comparing effective attack power between different builds, etc....

    It just feels like brewing decks in MTG you know? It's just so addicting.

    @emilyhyoyeon Of course it counts. I'm saying that as someone who prefer to roleplay with other people in an mmo. Roleplay is roleplay and it comes in many forms :)

    As for me: Roleplay, dressing up, housing, trading, thieving, crafting, taking snazzy screenshots, and a bunch of other things.

    Like exploring area's while questing, often wandering off away from the quest markers when something catches my eye.

    I picked exploring, but that encompases scrying, thieving, finding NPCs with interesting dialogue and lore information, gathering crafting materials, finding stuff in treasurer chests, discovering quests etc.

    As much as the environments in this game look nice there needs to be things to find to make exploration worthwhile, lots of empty space quickly gets dull even if it looks pretty at first. So I'd include a lot of the things in this list under the heading of exploration. The distinction is I don't set out to do a specific activity, I go into an area to see what I can find and do whatever I find along the way.

    (Except fishing. For me there's nothing fun about pushing E and then waiting for permission to push it again to be told if I've got junk or something mildly interesting...then doing it hundreds more times.)

    The only reason I started playing this game at all is because it's an RPG.

    Treating an RPG as an RPG does also include combat. For example, of a certain combat ability doesn't fit the character concept, you don't learn it and don't use it.
