Should I hold off on crafting/reconstructing armor set items until the new passives are implemented?

I either need to reconstruct or craft several armor set pieces (inc. monster sets) for many of my characters but am wondering if I should hold off until the new armor passives ( and changes in general?) are implemented before I do so?

Or will they not make much difference & I can keep using the current set weights on my character?

*Currently I'm running 1 piece heavy, 1 piece medium & 5 light on my mag dps characters + only healer & all medium pieces on my stam dps characters.

I'm pretty sure 5 light, 1 heavy, 1 med will still be the way to go.

It's almost always a good idea to wait till a new patch to do builds, sometimes things change enough to undermine a new build.

With that said, the upcoming free respecs make now an opportunity to test new builds and morph less popular skills. I've been playing with some new quirky builds because I'm fairly confident that they won't be significantly effected by the armour change (a tank will prolly still be in mostly heavy armour!). My plans for a near-meta DPS build aren't getting tested till a week after the new patch lands so I can have all the information!
#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

Looking at what is currently being trialled on the PTS I doubt that. A tank in mostly heavy armour will be too slow to be worth playing in a dungeon environment. I have a strong feeling that PVP like mixes are going to be far more playable with all the small pieces either light or medium. Otherwise by the time the tank turns up the others will have completed the dungeon and left.
Too many toons not enough time

On characters with Undaunted 9+ who can afford to put skill points into multiple armor lines.

Thanks all for your replies :)

I discovered via a youtube video last night, that there are also changes coming on dual wield and 2handed weapon passives too?

I'd already reconstructed a battle axe for one of my stam characters before seeing it, but am holding off now on doing any more until I found out for sure which will be the top preferred 2handed weapon and combination of 1handed weapons.

Maces are possibly going to be best because of better penetration and battle axes will lose bleeding chance and gain healing crit?

I don't think anyone was talking about fake tanks. Gl trying to tank vet dlc dungeons in med or light armor after the mitigation nerfs. Pug tanks already cant survive some of the hits. Heavy armor will still be the way to go. And if others run ahead and pull then they can tank it or die.
