Should we have small to medium size houses in all towns with a bank including the DLC ones?

Should we have small to medium size houses in all towns with a bank including the DLC ones?

Why: There are so many interesting towns and cities in ESO with plenty of services including a bank which makes them absolutely perfect to be a nice place to call your home town. BUT THEY HAVE NO SMALL PROPERTIES FOR SALE. Most of these locations have no house at all or just a mansion at some mental real cash price. I am pretty sure most people do not want a mansion for their first house!

To name just a few towns and cities that have plenty of services but not a single house or only a mansion:
Orsinium in Wrothgar
Riften in The Rift
Belkarth in Craglorn
Davon’s watch in Stonefalls
Evermore in Bankorai
Shornhelm in Rivenspire
Mistral in Khenarthi’s Roost
The Hollow City in Cold Harbour
Stonetooth Fortress in Betnikh

Brass Fortress in Clockwork City
Lilmoth in Murkmire
Markarth in The Reach
Anvil in Gold Coast
Kavatch in Gold Coast
Rimmen in Northern Elsweyr

would be even better if they implemented the stuff in my bio before doing anything else.
but after that, yeah this would be nice. Their are some small-medium sized Hlaalu/darkelf, imperial, breaton, orc and Alinor houses i wish we had access to.
Quality of life changes that desperately need to happen in order make ESO Better for everyone!
Forget new content for awhile & forget adding new DLC, this is a list of what is actually needed in the game.
1: Change the ESO+ Housing item limit from 2x to 3x. (preferably 4x)
2: Add a working Exit wayshrine item for housing.
(Needs to be added as a special achievement item for finding all wayshrines in the game, & should use the same slots & operate the exit shrines in cyro, where you cant port to them but you can use them to leave the house and go anywhere u want)
3: Add a GUILD Banker & Store NPC for housing.
(willing to pay 5k crowns if it does both Or 2.5k crowns each if they split them and have 2 Npcs(1 for each banker/store))
4: Add Writ boards and Writ Drop-off's for housing.
(willing to pay 2.5k crowns for each board+1k crowns per Drop off box=11k total crowns
5: Cut the crown price of Mundus stones IN HALF, and refund the difference in crowns to the few people who have already bought them.
(If Zo$ was my dog, ied roll up a news paper and smack you in the nose repeatedly for this. 4k per stone x13 stones? what were you thinking?!!
6: Multi Attuneable crafting stations. (this one change will solve so many issues with item limits. Make it so you have to 'feed' existing attuned tables to the new station to unlock its drop down effects. This kills 2 birds with 1 stone.)
7: Change the amount of transmutation gems needed to change a trait from 50 to 10, Increase the drop rates of all Geode sources by 10x.
8: Release more crafting recipes in the game for housing, Dark elf bed of coals/Outdoor and indoor fires/Orcish Column Brazier/Imperial Forge/Beehives/Grape vinyards/smaller greenhouse than the one currently ingame (half the size), We know they are already in the game. These were on the original housing PTS then like 60% of the good stuff disappeared when housing hit the live server.
9: ESO+ life time membership option.
10: Permanent craft bag unlock for crowns.
11: REMOVE BIND ON PICKUP FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT QUEST ITEMS! PLZ ABOLISH THIS TRASH RESTRICTION!!! Change all current non quest BOP items to BOE. PvPers don't like being forced to run pve for gear, and pve-ers don't like being forced to run pvp for their gear either. The solution is so simple let people run the content they like and trade their drops on the open market..
12: Add New Fishing rods that you can unlock with bonuses for catching rate fish. spending 6 hours trying to get ONE blue fish using all of the buffs currently available is cancer, especially when you have to do this for 12 fish per zone times 40+ zones. In-fact just overhaul fishing totally and make it like Farcry 5 where you KNOW exactly which holes and locations the each of the rares will spawn. Make the T2 bait ACTUALLY & NOTICEABLY WORK, and combine it with better rods & better fishing related food buff so we can just reel in the rare fish like crazy. Even with all that its still gonna take a week or more of grinding to get all the fish, but thats better than a LITERAL FREAKING YEAR of fishing just for a housing boat item that doesn't even do anything...
13: Playable Games inside houses (basically just make all the decorative game furnishings actually intractable so we can play against other players. This would give a nice bump to housing utility and community building, RPers would also probably appreciate this).
14: A 'Port to Guild House' Option on the main guild page.
15: Add Functional Things to housing/guild halls that your guild can contribute to unlock as a group effort. An example of stuff would be like a 5% damage buff during overland content for all guild members, or buffs for dungeons/trails. Another example would be unlock tokens for people with super hard to get achievements like someone with the grand master fisher, they could donate a token to the guild that unlocks usable fishing plots inside the guild that the GM/House owner could place down. This would then let people travel to the guild hall and collect a Daily account Limit from housing harvesting nodes. Nothing crazy that would break the economy, just like 30 or so resources from each daily harvest able nodes for each of the skills. It would be even better if they were special enhanced versions of the normal ore/wood etc. that gave a refining bonus for tempers like double the chance to get tempers. (double the chance to get tempers on such a small amount of resources wouldn't actually make a big impact on economy, but the COOL factor would be off the charts so i see no reason why this couldn't be done).
16: Solo Dungeons, Much like solo trials this would be a 1 person equivalent of a 4 person dungeon. It would be even cooler if you could have your new companion NPC come with you on these, but we will have to see how good that companion system is first.

More variation in small locations too. A small outdoor location for example, or a room in the outlaw refuge in Hew's Bane (or any outlaw refuge for that matter).

I’d have nothing against it but few of those locations interest me or I already have abodes there (I love Rimmen but SBS and HotLC seem like plenty for one city IMHO). The towns amenities don’t matter much to me when it comes to house locations — I can always port! The house itself and the climate and ambiance of the area matter much more to me. I do wish there were more houses of various Dunmer styles and various sizes in Vvardenfell, however, especially Balmorra!

Yes. I’d like more little homes like thief dens in basements, vampire/werewolf hideouts in sewers, airy wizard towers at the edge of town, and an apartment/home for my Orc in Orsinium.

Getting houses in all these locations might be a lot to ask for, but some of them would be nice.

I have been looking for small houses in the Khajiit and Orc styles, and the price is either around 50k gold for something really small or 300k I think it was for the next larger house. That’s a huge jump in price for not much more space, especially in the case of Khajiit homes, which are all really small inside.

I am still hoping for a small Telvanni home in Sadrith Mora. I bought the Vivec Temple apartment and put some Telvanni furnishings in there, but hit the slot limit before I could fit in half the things I wanted.

I don't mind if there's a bank or not - there are very nice places ingame that could have a house but have no bank - but I would love more small or medium sized houses. I mostly don't care for those bombastic gargantuan houses that you never have a chance of making habitable with 700 slots.

The result of the survey is clear. But even so, they keep bringing new, huge properties into the game. Why?

Yes a house in an outlaws refuge would be fantastic

I totally agree that their should be a house in Balmorra and more services too, I used to love going to that city when I played the original game Morrowind.

I could not agree more. I dont understand why most of the houses they are offering are so clean and neat, totally give me a sewer hideout or an insane wizards tower or a dirty dank cave. Not boring perfectly well maintained respectable homes. eww lol

I totally agree there should be a small Telvanni home in Sadrith Mora. I don't think it would be so much work for them, they just only like to sell the massive houses so people feel pushed to buy them instead, its pretty toxic.

I normally end up blocking off large parts of the bigger houses to fill them betty pretty lame.

As far as I can tell they want to starve areas of smaller houses so people feel more pressured to buy the expensive larger premium houses. [snip] Honestly I don't think most people like the massive houses at all [snip]

They are probably also calculating that a large house will have to be furnished with more furnishing items and that maybe not everyone produces everything themselves, but will buy some items.

Why are the votes not showing up in the replies in this thread? That is odd.

I voted but there is nothing at the top showing how I voted like I’ve always seen.

It is not telling you who voted what as it is set to an anonymous vote. I set it to that as with any poll you are more likely to get a honest vote if people cannot see what you voted.

I wish there was a second yes option. Do I want more small and medium houses in towns? Yes, but I don't want them in all the houses with a bank. Just the large ones that has room for one, and a lot of the smaller base game towns doesn't.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

I would like it, I like orsinium, but the fact there's a lack of houses avaidible unless you have a lot of crowns is disapointing.

I love the small houses cause they are easier to furnish. Most of the new notables are too big to furnish with the furniture cap at 700 so I don't buy them. Smaller homes on large lots would be better.

So many great ideas here. Too add another, I want an actual Psijic styled home inside Ceporah Tower. Literally could just copy & paste the room used in Val's/Seht's/Iachesis' studies. That'd be more then enough for me and would provide us our own private quarters.

It's Artaeum. We are accepted into the Psijic Order. Give us an actual Psijic styled quarters inside Ceporah Tower, especially since the only other Artaeum home isn't Psijic in the slightest, merely just the Alinor styled Cathedral detached away in it's own area.

It provides a smaller sized alternative for the location AND gives us a home in a unique style not currently represented in Housing yet.

Also there is currently and unused doorway in the main entry hall of Ceporah Tower shown here
    editoec6i96hd0v83.png

A room and Teleportation Pad could easily be added here without removing or editing the rest of the layout in the slightest.

Honestly, and for certain at least in the DLC Zones, every Zone should have an inn room/apartment.

I would turn it around as well and want full facilities at every town that has a house (remote houses are fine). I think it super strange that Ebon Hold in Stonefalls has 2 houses but minimal facilities, and Davons Watch has all the facilities, but no house.

Agreed. All the zones have some kind of unused doorway, locked gate, etc that could become a "portal" to a small house. Just cut and paste any of the currently existing interiors (I mean they do that anyway) For example, every time I go into an Outlaws den and see a chained/blocked side door - I wish they would make a nice apartment in there.
