I thought I’d like the merchant more because my bank is always full. So, what’s the use for a banker then? But, since they had sales recently, I bought both and I find that I used both equally as often. So, you really need both if you can have them you. I guess, if you could only buy one, merchant will be it to offload the junk.

There are - but please please put the kitty hotkey somewhere far from the keys you normally use. Having someone's merchant accidentally pop up randomly in front of you in the middle of a boss fight is a real nuisance !

I intend to buy the merchant now that my kitty banker has proved so useful.
You know just by having kitty it has improved my fun of the game no end. I could not have made that up. Worth every crown.

I went with the banker first because at that time I only had the first free storage chest and wanted to be able to have access to more storage from my various dwellings. After I fully leveled I found I didn't need as much regular access to storage so bought a merchant to make it easier to sell the excess stuff I pickup and is not worth selling in a guild store.
