I mean, I don't hate any alliance, but EP has dark elves who literally enslave my race. If it wasn't for them then I wouldn't care about any of them. All imo, and no offense meant.

The skyrim part makes a lot of sense.

Players coming from Skyrim who don't bother learning about the nuances of each alliance and just see "Aldmeri Dominion" and get the same look in their eyes as Ysgramor did when anyone dared think the word "elf".

Mischaracterization of battle tactics of coordinating groups/guilds as multiple AD zergs popping up across the battlefield?

Students of Classical history who have no regard for anything that isn't BC and take great offense at the mere mention of AD?

Dog lovers who find themselves frustrated that their requests for the Lilmoth race to finally be added perpetually fall on deaf ears and so take their frustrations out against the cat-folk?

I used to think I liked dc best.... They seemed closest to the cyrodillic empire which I liked. But I've run into some toxicity while on that faction in cyrodiil a couple times so I'm EP all the way now. For AD... the cats and elves... It's all a little too much sucrose for me.... sometimes reminds me of a bad session of d&d or something.

The funniest thing to me is the AD players who simp for DC streamers.

EP is most populated and DC doesn't exist...so AD was the only option

The furry thing is pretty ignorant since they have unique lore that is ignored simply because of how they look. The other two reason are true, not gonna lie. I don't really like most altmer either because rascism but its better than slavery AND rascism (dunmer). Like I said, I'm only AD because khajiit but I definitely see the reasons to hate AD from the outside.

Besides Skyrim and pvp, I think some quests in eso portrayed AD as being truly evil. The one quest with the hatching pools in Shadowfen comes to mind.
