Merchant I say unless you don't have eso+ and do crafting writs.Right, thanks. Now it's which to go for, merchant or banker.

I think I will go banker this time and maybe merchant at a later date.
I have eso+ so my bank is something like 150 slots I think and I don't have a lot stored in it at the moment. It would mean I could basically empty my loot bag into my bank if needed.

Outside of dungeon/trial play it's not so useful because (except during this event) you can simply enter an imperial city campaign without queues sell to the merchants in IC (or the banker), or use the crafting tables to smash all the junk up, and then exit IC back where you were.
Which is best I think depends on discipline. If you have the discipline to keep your bank partly empty, and ESO+ to get the extra space then a banker. If your bank is always full and you can never work out where to put stuff then a merchant may be better.
Both have annoying flaws though - you can't do gear repair via the merchant, and you can't access guild banks via the banker. Porting to imperial city has no such restriction.
Banker might be best. I have the extended bank and that would allow me to sort out stuff when in a town or city. I could unload everything on him rather than just the stuff I want to sell.

It has all the crafting stations too so you can deconstruct. Its an delay getting in however even outside of the event.
Note that if you are in quest instances, delves and probably public dungeons it may kick you outside then you return.
Know the dungeon finder does this.

I make so much more gold after having gotten him because I no longer have to just destroy that stuff to keep going. Best farming friend.
Ezabi is amazing for those "oh nuts I need that thing I left in the bank" moments, and she makes things really comfortable for fresh toons, when you can just retrieve soul gems, lockpicks, XP scrolls, etc. She's great for keeping something safe for you, too. Example: when sticker book farming in a group, you can ploink a piece you really want in her pocket so you don't accidentally offer it to others. >_> Sorry fam I know I've already collected a Mother's Sorrow inferno staff but listen this one is preciiiissseeee!
