I was in Imperial City a couple of hours ago, just minding my business trying to quest. At one point, someone from another faction ran past me and I automatically tensed up, like here we go, I'm about to be needlesssly slaughtered and lose 15 minutes of my actual life trying to get back and finish this quest. But then I saw that he was being chased by three Orgrim, so I relaxed, assuming he had bigger fish to fry. When I tell you... that absolute simpleton ran past me, turned around, and came flying back at me trying to start something. But he only got in about one hit before he got pounced from behind by all three Orgrim. I have laughed harder in my life, but I don't know that I've ever laughed so hard in this game.

Tl; dr: now I believe in karma.

I do too. But I've never gotten around to figuring out how to take pictures or video in game.

Heh. Me either.... and I'm supposed to be the tech expert in the house (well, I am - husband can't even figure out how to get the tv sorted when he screws it up. And use a computer or cell phone? Nope....)

Well, considering I was on a barely level 20 character, yes, I'm going to find amusement in the significantly higher level character who thought I was easy prey and then got pounced by the npcs that were already chasing him. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

If that hurts your feelings... for crying out loud.

Who said he was killed? I said they jumped him. All I know is, he got slammed, I laughed, I ran, and I went on my merry way to collect my tickets.

Both my ex and my dad are the same way: career tech types, and barely even want to update the phone at home. But I get it; I'm a lawyer, and I hate to so much as negotiate a new contract with the cable company in my free time.

FYI on windows you can easily record your gameplay without having to install any third party software. Just go into settings>gaming and turn on the game bar and turn on background recording (in the captures section).

But did he immediately break free and fight? I recall getting hit by lots of clannfears in the Imperial City at like the worst moments when fighting other people. Really annoying those dinosaurs are.

I m amazed truly why it had to be that way. PVE's and PVP's are bad enough already ,force put them in same city with one faction trying to kill of others picking easy kills is chaos,having groups deliberately hunting down camping hot spots for story quests is a disaster.

I understand what OP has to say ,when eagerness bloodlust to kill someone blinds your vision

I'm betting he hit a skill on accident but lag caused it to fire off well after he had ran past you and it ported them back to trash mob hell.

That would actually make a lot of sense, there was definitely significant lag in IC yesterday, although I don't remember any at that particular moment.

Maybe it will clarify it for people if I put it in nature documentary terms: imagine you see a frightened rabbit cowering as a snake glides past it, while the snake is in turn chased by a bear. I find memes completely irritating but that's a different topic.

I get the situation the OP was describing. What I don't get is what was supposed to be funny about it.

So a guy was running past then turned around to attack the OP even though some ogrims were chasing him. Ok. The OP has no idea what happened with the guy, he may not have been hurt by the ogrims at all. In fact, often when you are chased by a mob, the minute you stop and confront them they turn and run from you. So the guys actions don't seem unreasonable to me, or "numbskull behavior", or funny.
