just got killed by a enemy player who was invisible. every listed skill that damages me/killed me was a melee attack yet there was no visible player in melee range or in sight. I dont know if this is some sort of glitch or someone's cheating, but either way, it's annoying when you cant see what's melee attacking you.

    I think you are using an add-on called hide group in PvE content (or something similar, might be lazy writ hide pet messing it up), and forgot to turn it off walking into PvP. It happens to me all the time.

    I'm on console, we dont have add ons. either imp city was glitching or lagging, but either way it was really weird cos I havent seen them since either

    Nightblades can go in and out of stealth quite quickly. And if you’re a potato like me, it just takes a knife in the back and execute and I am dead.

    I dont think it was a night blade, cos there was nothing, and I have my camera far out so I can see what's around my char, and there was just nothing, just damage numbers

    Happens sometimes in lag, when you are not able to see other players. That it happens in IC is very strange though.

    I’m on PS4 and I see this all the time but in Cyrodiil. I get killed by blastbones and never see him, or spin-to-win but no one is even close.

    Can you show us the recap or tell us what skills hit you?
    There is a cp passive that makes you invisible after killing an enemy with a heavy attack. People used to gank with bow heavy>surprise attack and if they managed to 1 shot the enemy, they wouldn't leave invisibility at all. It's possible that you can also do this with Doylemish and a melee heavy attack, but haven't tested it.

    Otherwise it was probably lag or the enemy was ported out of IC before he was drawn out of invisibility...
