Question about mundus stone

Hello all. Yesterday I crafted my own set and now I have julianos and mother's sorrow. My build is dk mag dps. Atm my spell critical is around 57%. I read in many forums that penentraion matters more than critical damage and I don't know if I should go with the shadow or lover stone. I use this build just for solo pve. For penentraion I have the light armor passive, 20 points in spell erosion, and one staff with sharpened trait. So what mundus should I use? Ohh also I'm trying to get the ice heart monster set so I'll get another 1,5 k spell critical from this set. Thanks in advance

If only iceheart really gave 1.5k crit... It depends on if you are reaching penetration cap or not. If not go lover. But in any group content where the tank is competent he will provide you 14k pen on his own... But since you said you are solo only, go with lover (unless you are breaking 18200 pen with it)

With what you described, you will be sitting just under 10k penetration.

If you use a skill to cast Major breach an the enemy, ELE Drain for example, then you will be sitting at about 16K pen. From that perspective, a Lover Mundus is a lot of OVER penetration. but if your Ability setup does NOT have major breach, you will be better off with the Lover. It really depends on the rest of your setup.

Alternatively, you could traitchange your Staff to Nirnhoned or Precise and you will be just at the cap with Lover + Major Breach + Your setup.
