Disable hammer during Midyear Mayhem?

...and here I though I've experienced the worst of cyrodil lag. But when that hammer shows up during Midyear Mayhem...yikes...

Id prefer they disable it forever.
Worst idea they ever had and it just does the reverse of what they intended by making the strongest faction stronger because no matter who gets it at first, it always ends up in the strongest faction's hands

It also attracts most players to it so it just creates more and more lag

Same here, it ranks as the dumbest thing in the game in my book. I have no idea what their thought was on implementing it, but whatever it was, it failed.
