Why is performance in GH better during Midyear Mayhem?

Has anyone else noticed that performance seems to be better in Gray Host during Midyear Mayhem? During the event my skills go off on the first try in Gray Host, yet it often takes three tries outside of the event. Why isn't whatever changes they are making for the event a performance test? @ZOS_GinaBruno

They Temporarily improve PvP servers during MYM.

They claimed that AoE is the key makes PvP servers laggy. Obviously the REAL reason making PvP servers unplayable is MONEY. They simply don't want to invest more in PvP.

Why invest in PvP servers if they can make more money by building new PvE zones, PvE quests, PvE gears, PvE motifs, PvE DLCs, PvE Chapters?

They think that PvP is the minority so they just don't care. Because they don't care about PvP so many PvPers dimply quit the game, then PvP population continues to plunge, making them out even less effort on PvP. It's a loop created by them.
No improvement on Cyrodill servers -> no ESO plus renewal.

Will never get an answer to it, because we all know why 😉

Because a bunch of the ball groups moved over to Blackreach for the event for easy "farming". Sadly, I think they are finding it isn't so easy, and while yes, they are steamrolling a lot of newbs, they are also getting their b***'s kicked by the locals when we decided to deal with them.

And I also remember GH being fairly lag free last year as well, but Blackreach this year has become lagged to death.

Last night we had a huge battle between EP and DC, around 2 am EST. Maybe 60 players on both sides at Chalman. Despite the big numbers, abilities went off, I did not get "lag stunned". Guess why? No ball groups. It was some guild groups plus pugs, but none of the ball groups that specifically exploit "lag stun" skills.

Last couple nights have reminded me of how Cyrodil used to be-- huge groups of players fighting at multiple keeps at once. Kind of sad to realize that, on EP at least, for the last few months often only 2 bars.

This large scale fights are the main reason I play. Actually fun. Unlike being lag stunned by ball groups exploiting broken ESO mechanics.
3 GOs, a Warlord, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP

It's simple. As other have stated, they spin up more servers to handle the increased load.

And no I don't mean the temporary servers they add for you to choose. Adding more physical and virtual servers allows the load balancers to give a better user end experience.
    Here since Beta.

Characters: All of them, both Stamina and Magicka.
