Make PvP events more PvP in Imperial City

During PvP events, especially in Imperial City, please change daily quests to real PvP only, remove ticket drops from those PvE quests like collecting something, saving NPCs, activating some items, etc.

Please only allow quests like killing players, capturing flags to be the dailies dropping tickets.

There are too many PvE dailies here in IC.

It's a PvP event in PvP zones. Make it more PvP, or at least encourage more PvP actions. For example, one real PvP daily for tickets, two PvE dailies for the same amount of tickets.

If they would give out tickets for being killed by another player, that would be awesome.

I believe you would have to get a killing blow against another player to get credit, not the other way around.

Why would they do that?. The majority of people that play this game don't like pvp. These same people think pvp events give an unfair advantage to pvp players by forcing pve players into something that causes rage and supports griefing that they aren't wired or prepared for. The pve quests are the only things making it doable for pve players. Otherwsise we'd just forgo the event all together.

Don't PVE players have an unfair advantage in PVE compared to PVPers? PVErs have like 90% of the game to themselves already don't they? Shouldn't there be events just for PVPers? Or do you think PVErs should get everything and be included in everything?

Because it is a PvP event in PvP zones.

Did you read my full message? There's an option to still grant tickets to PvE tasks in PvP zones, but if you directly do PvP tasks, you may get tickets quicker.

The game only offers limited PvP zones. In countless OvE events, PvPers need to do quests, talk to NPCs, etc. Now PvEers already have the chance to CONTINUE doing PvE tasks in PvP zones. We just want some more PvP in PvP zones. Simple and straightforward.

I'm not fully against the idea. I'd do that if it was the only option but PvE quests allow me to jump in, quickly kill 15 mobs and forget about it for the rest of the day and find PvP action elsewhere. IC is the opposite of fun.

IMO one of the reasons making IC boring is that there are too many NPC mobs. Every corner or every 10 steps you walk, you'll encounter a group of NPC mobs. In general, PvPers don't like to fight NPCs. PvEers don't want to fight players.

As a result, IC is abandoned by both PvPers and PvEers...

Imperial City is a combined PvP *and* PvE zone. It has a main quest and the daily side quests. It has a dense collection of NPC Daedra and hostile alliance legionnaires. It is not and never was exclusively a PvP zone.

That said, I can see why PvP’ers might want some PvP objectives *also* to be awarded tickets during IC events, along with the PvE dailies. Since both types of play are built into the zone, that seems like a reasonable request.

I only ask for the tweak DURING PvP events.
And, players may still do PvE dailies to get tickets.

I don't ask for permanent changes, but only during PvP events.

Edit: Midyear Mayham is a officially called a PvP event, hope you know that.

With your argument, then Cyrodiil is also a PvP mixed with PvE zone, then the only Real PvP is Battleground, and we cannot even select game mode in BG. Look, basically 100 percent of the game is PvE oriented, why not just give PvPers a bit more during PvP events...

You can select dungeons, we can't even select death match or those relic game...
