Do your character(s) wear their helms

Do you put helms on your characters? Why or why not?

I usually don’t because I spend a lot of time making my characters face appeal to me and I don’t want to cover that up. This is with an exception for the more hood related items.

Also, a lot of ESO helms turn me away because they don’t look right on characters. Especially the heavy helms where your eyes or face are slightly visible. Those look super silly to me.

It's not just showing my face but also showing my hair. If the helm let my long hair extend past I may be tempted to show my helm on occasion, as long as it didn't completely cover my face. But not the way it is now.

It really just depends on if it fits with the rest of the costume design I am going for at the time. Sometimes that is a full mask, sometimes just a hood or hat, and sometimes no head covering at all.

I do *** like to show my toons faces when I do Random Dungeons or other GF stuff.

But when I am alone or with my guildies, I show off their beautiful faces.

As an RPer, I have plenty of opportunity to show my characters' faces. Also as an RPer, I personally approach combat with a certain degree of logic. Namely, 'Only in idiot goes into a battlefield with their head completely exposed.'

More understandable for non-RPers to run around like that, but yeah. That's how I see it for myself.

Why would cloth users wear helmets? They don't even have helmets usually. The same goes for leather users, actually. Most of the time, they're only using something to hide their face, not to actually protect. Characters using metal armor are the only ones that makes actual sense.

Are you meaning to ask if we truly do not wear a helm?
Or do you mean HIDE the helm that we are wearing? Because it would be silly not to wear head armor since we have the option to hide it when we want to show off our head/face..

Hide helm. I love my gray haired, grizzled orc and his bright blue face tattoo bestowed by Lord Vivec himself. Who wouldn’t want to view that?

Besides, the face in the character creator is pretty good. No need to cover it up. I have a toon or two that sometimes will wear head adornment for fun but I don’t care for most of the helm designs.

Depends on the character. Some never take it off and even I never see their face except at crafting stations. Others never wear It and I only see their helms at outfit stations. Others wear it for doing combat stuff but take it off when doing other things and for these I dedicate a hot-bar slot to hide helm. One never wears headgear but has a warpaint face marking she wears for combat things, another never wears a helm but has a couple of hats she switches between, but also will sometimes just rock a no hat look.

Depends on the character. They choose what they wear. Like, my high elf showcases his glorious hair - except when it's raining. Then he covers it with a hood so not to ruin his glorious hair.

It depends on the character and the situation. I change what they're wearing to suit the situation and that includes hiding or showing their helmet (and changing hair styles when they're not wearing a helm).

My heavy armoured characters usually do wear a helm in combat, others will only put it on sometimes, in the case of ones who wear a hood or cloth hat usually more to hide their face or keep stuff from getting in their hair than for protection in battle (for defence they rely mainly on not being there when the blow lands).
