Community Manager
The Elder Scrolls Online v6.3.1 adds the Jester’s Festival for testing this week and includes several bug fixes for the new Flames of Ambition dungeons, some Champion System and general ability fixes, fixes for a few game crashes, and more. The size of this patch is approximately 141MB.

Jester’s Festival
This week, we’re activating the Jester’s Festival for testing! Get started by obtaining the intro quest from the Crown Store, or visit the Jester’s pavilions outside Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard or Ebonheart.- There are three new daily quests this year:
- A Foe Most Porcine, with a bestower at every Jesters Festival tent who directs you to Hammerdeath Arena in Stormhaven.
- The King’s Spoils, with the bestower found at Hammerdeath Arena in Stormhaven.
- Prankster’s Carnival, where the bestower is found at Stonefalls Jesters Festival tent.
- During this event, the Impresario will offer the third and final fragment for the Deadlands Scorcher player skin. With all three of these fragments, plus a completed Unstable Morpholith pet (also available for fragments from the Impresario), you can combine the items together to morph them into the Deadlands Scorcher skin!
- Note that this consumes the Morpholith, much like the Nascent Indrik for previous events’ Indrik evolutions, and must be acquired again for the next morph in the series.

General- Armor reduction bonuses are not currently working against targets who do not have the armor stat; monsters do not have armor and only have Physical and Spell Resistance.
Champion System- The Rationer passive is currently reporting its current bonus in milliseconds rather than minutes.
- Bonuses that increase range currently report their current bonus in centimeters rather than meters.

- There is no longer a chance you could be prevented from using abilities after using a geyser.
- Fixed several typos in the Journal text for the quest Burning Secrets.
- Fire Behemoths are now correctly named throughout the dungeon.
- Updated punctuation in the book “Imperial Decree Regarding the Elder Council.”
- Fixed typos and expanded sentences in the book “Hidden Diary.”
- The visual effects from Eveli’s water arrow are now better aligned.
- Updated doors within the dungeon to match map descriptions.
- Updated a variety of sound effects throughout the dungeon.
- Kinras Ironeye
- Eveli’s arrows will no longer defy gravity and physics if they are fired from outside your view.
- Captain Geminus
- The Fillet ability will no longer deal damage if it is interrupted by the Whiteout ability.
- Geminus will now properly animate when using Fillet even if the initial target dies to the first knife throw.
- Geminus will now correctly face her target when casting Incapacitating Trap.

- The visual effects for Firestorm will now always be visible.

- Reduced the number of critters within the dungeon. They couldn’t handle the heat.
- The ritual’s visual effects over Baron Zaudrus head will now properly show for all players.
- Updated the “Glob Security” achievement to fix typos and provide correct description details.
- Updated the journal text for the quest “Into the Deep” to fix typos, grammar, and provide more accurate descriptions.
- Molten Pillars no longer trigger combat music
- Adjusted the timing from some of Drathas’ dialogue so he doesn’t interrupt himself.
- Taskmaster Viccia
- Venom Arrow’s effects are now correctly removed when Taskmaster Viccia is defeated.
- Lyranth Gauntlet
- Adjusted the timing of the impact sound for the Daedric Catalyst Fluid thrown by Drathas.
- Adjusted sound effect timing of the Daedric Catalyst Fluid.
- Baron Zaudrus
- Galvanic Charge is now removed from player characters once Baron Zaudrus is defeated.
- General
Homes- Corrected a number of small visual issues in Varlaisvea Ayleid Ruins and Kushalit Sanctuary.
- Fixed an issue where you would see the exterior map instead of the interior map for Kushalit Sanctuary if you had built above the floor at the top of the interior steps.
Furnishings- Improved the placement of the flames on the “Daedric Brazier, Plinth” furnishing.

General- Fixed additional issues where bonuses for certain attacks could unintentionally affect other attacks.
- Bonuses that increase your chance of finding better fish, such as Angler's Instincts and Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl, now more accurately describe their effects and no longer include a static percent bonus, which was incorrect as fish can't do math or probability equations.
Alliance War- Assault
- Rapid Maneuvers: Fixed an issue where casting this ability's morphs would fail on nearby innocents if the setting "Prevent Attacking Innocents" was turned on.
Champion System- Updated all tooltips in the Champion Point system to follow a new layout that describes their per stage and current bonus, based on points spent.

Animation- Personality props will now be hidden when using Blade of the Blood Oath.
- You will no longer be removed from first person view when certain animations play while running.
General- Fixed an issue where Kizna and Kazbur the Wanderer, merchants in Dragonstar Arena, were selling old, incorrect wares. They now sell wares as befits standard Merchants.
Furnishings- The “Redguard Well, Arched” furnishing no longer appears hollow when viewed from below.
Homes- In the Dwarven interior section of Stillwaters Retreat, the small open archways near the ceiling now have more accurate collision. This makes it easier to place or remove objects inside those archways.
- Removed some errant bushes that had taken to flying high in the sky above Bouldertree Refuge.
General- Fixed a rare crash during some animations.
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur when in heavy combat with many other bow users.
- Fixed a rare crash cause by the model loading system.
Blackwood Prologue Quest- A Mortal’s Touch:
- Fixed an issue where the quest would break if you skipped talking to Eveli and advanced into the Annex too far.
- Fixed an issue involving quest hints for Daggerfall Covenant players during the quest step "Examine the Note".
- Daggerfall players are no longer left wondering where on Nirn their letter from the Dread Lady is.
- The Emperor’s Secret:
- You are now directed to the nearby cart when asked to meet Eveli in Riften.
- You will now receive the correct marker above the door when entering the Annex.
- Boss music will play less frequently during this quest.
General- Triggering the sell confirmation text no longer puts the menu into a state where you cannot navigate through it.
