Vedova✭✭✭Would like fully customisable, able to alter their appearance from the character screen, would then want them to be just as customisable as they get different looks with the armour motifs that you have unlocked from the out fit station then can make my own adventuring companions as required from maybe a base class , with skills of various classes to give me full flexibility in creating my companions looks and behaviour.
Still don't think its needed in the game the companions tho as i didn't care much for them in SWTOR and is not what was expecting to be announced, but will see how limited and useless they are, and the other thing with SWTOR is everyone had companions all out and in the long run loose immersion if see 100 of same companion following all the players about. Its bit of a dud idea in that aspect.2 -

✭I hope that they don't limit themselves to just using the playable races, I would love to have a Skeleton/Draugr companion seeing as they are also humanoid and, I assume, share the same animations that the ''regular'' races have.
I don't even care if it has no dialogue or story background, just give it some combat and idle sounds/shouts/groans/etc.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭Strange to see that so many think only about the way the companion should look, not about whether that npc could have an interesting story to tell... That would be the thing I would care about most. Interesting background story or amusing remarks while travelling.

@NotaDaedraWorshipper Yeah, right? I mean, people can have different opinions, but I personally don't see the companion system as solely cosmetic decoration ("busty lady"/"muscle guy"/"npc of player's whatever preference" running after the player character) or just a simple fighting aid. I see it as an immersion thing and as a additional method to include stories and lore (how about a native in a new region who optionally tells you about the places' history and about cultural and politic backgrounds?). So the thing I care about most would be interesting dialogue.
I wrote it before, I would find travelling with, for example, Divayth Fyr, extremely interesting. Generally, some kind of scholarly character would fit my main quite well. As we won't get the "big ones" like Fyr or Galerion, I think I'd be quite happy with Raynor Vanos or Neramo. Or, the less serious and a bit more humoristic solution, Revus Demnevanni Although I'm afraid most people can't even remember him. @Syldras | PC | EU

100% would love Revus Demnevanni as a companion. He probably has amazing stories to tell and could have great ambient dialogue in Dwemer ruins. One of the more memorable minor characters I've met in ESO.PC NA, CP2500+. Character creation is the true endgame.2 -
