In restoration staff theres a passive that lets you absorb magicka from blocking spells.
But how exactly do you block spells? Been blocking spells like you would melee attacks but doesnt seem to do an awfull lot.
Right click, will put you in block mode no matter what weapon you are using.
If you have a shield, you block more, but you can block with any weapon, it just does not block much.
When using a restoration staff and you have that passive, and you right click (block mode) as the spell hits you. You get damaged (but less then the full hit) and some mana.
Still, its better to GET out of the way of the spell, then get the mana
Blocking without a shield (in this case with a staff) saves about 5% damage, and the mana you get from this passive will not be enough to heal you from the damage you just got (if at veteran level) so the passive is useless.
You get more mana by moving out of the way, and attacking the mob with a heavy hit (which gives you mana but it not 'written' anywhere)
