By changing I mean are we not getting any new classes or skill lines to add a refreshing twist to the gameplay. I don’t mean a couple stat changes in champion system.
I left the game because the playstyles just felt stagnant for me after a couple years. Is nothing about the classes really changing?
I see a lot of people asking for new classes or skill lines. Not sure why. new for the sake of new usually isn't a good idea and I doubt any new class or skill line would be much different than we already have because of balance issues.

@kargen27 I don’t see how you can’t see why people would want new classes or skill lines. People aren’t robots that don’t mind repeating a endless loop. Some of need changes outside of numbers to stay interested
The number changes do make a difference to how you play the game though. That was the main point of their new armor system passive changes with how wearing different weights of armor changes how you approach playing the game. Wearing heavy makes you clunkier, wearing light makes you lighter on your feet etc. etc.

I know why they would want it. I'm saying even with a new class or skills they are probably not going to get anything much different than what is already available.

I won't mind them taking a year off from new combat systems if the narrative and exploration elements of the Chapter are high quality, and their promise of various performance improvements for the year actually delivers results this time around.
More than happy to wait for 2022 for new skill lines in that case, and when we get there... melee magicka weapon skill lines please
The CP changes themselves are massive to the game and adding in the companions is a nice change. Bringing in a new class or skill lines just leads to a harder time in creating balance and leads to wider changes to either make the new class unique or better than others.
I’d be much happier in just trying to get a worthwhile progression system out of the CP and stable performance over the next quest than any new skill or class.
The combat is clunky af. It is the main reason I can never get into this game.
The reason people are asking for new classes IMO is because the combat sucks, so they want a new class to keep things fresh but with the clunky combat and slap job they did with the previous 2 classes I doubt a new class would be worth it at this point.
If this game had good, responsive combat this game could be the top MMO out there in my opinion. If the company isn't going to bother addressing the key/core issues of this game and they continue to just dump more crap on top of it, that it will eventually just will die.
I hope they realize that there are going to be other MMOs that come out in the future such as Ashes of Creation being the most heard of MMO which may end up having good combat and overall good class system, could end up driving more people away from ESO.
The way it's currently going, they don't really seem to care. They want to make an MMO cater to solo experience that's their choice I guess.
