During the Pvp event, I play both sides for fun , but I found no lag issues in IC even over 40 players in the same area at PEAK HOURS.
I dont wanna talk about Cyrodiil, what I do was login and DC...
Lag really from skills and sets calculation? For my case, I would say no.

✭✭✭✭✭Didn't someone say a while back that it was because IC is split up by loading screens in the different areas? I don't know myself - I have no use for pvp - but I do read nearly every thread here.... and I thought that point was made a while back.3 -

That seems plausible. Cyrodiil probably needs to be split up into smaller zones.5 -

✭✭Also IC is way smaller compared to Cyrodiil and it does lag from time to time
Not as much as Cyrodiil but it does
Or gets stuck in loading screen or tells you that instance is full if you try to switch between sewers and city
So yeah, it has its own problems for sure

Unfortunately these loading screens have a totally random load time. Sometimes it is a couple of seconds, sometimes it is 5 minutes.
So yeh the performance is a lot better, but there is a drawback as well.0
