Please don't let us beat another Daedric Prince

While i really like the theme of the expansion the whole we beat daedric princes whenever we get the chance takes away fully from the mysterious powerful daedric beings. They should not interact that openly with us but more like in Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim. It takes away for the charme if we beat them all the time. They should be this scheming beings offering deals and not the main foe. It made sense in the main story against Molag Bal with the power of Akatosh but for example in oblivion we wouldnt stand a chance against Mehrunes Dagon without Martin. It takes away all their mysticism and makes them lose respect if you treat them like this.

I agree, they are supposed to be these all powerful beings that NO mortal can really just.... beat, aside from a few exception in the lore perhaps. (Talos became a god when he started as a mortal so)

    Hoping for more playable races

Exactly. As far as i remember you only have a chance against a daedric prince when he is not in his realm but otherwise he is too powerful to fight. But that got debunked already int he main story where we gave Molag Bal a beating in his own realm.

Well, let's wait and see how will it be. The Triada story
(Clavicus Vile, Mephala, Nocturnal) during Morrowind and Summerset chapters
    was nice.
Mephala even appeared on Artaeum which was very cool and something new.
And Mehrunes is not the smartest Daedric Prince and he is quite easy to approach for mortals.

I liked the story they told but at the same time i lost respect for the these three. They are basically not very strong if they go down so easily.

I disagree here. Mehrunes is not dumb at all. In Oblivion he almost conquered whole Tamriel if it wouldnt have been for Martin's sacrifice. His plan was pretty good. He killed the whole septim bloodline and broke the veil from his realm to tamriel.

What I would prefer is a story model like in Oblivion, staying in the shadow of a hero more powerful than us that manages to save the world as an avatar of a deity than us being able to defeat a daedric Prince.

As it is now, it ruins the immersion imho. We defeat Molag Bal and then get killed from Kragh in Fungal Grotto 1. :D Makes no sense.

Would be cool if in one expansion we had to help an evil daedric prince to destroy a part of the world with one of his enemies in it, to save his/her source of power. Saving Tamriel being just a side-effect of that course of action.

To be fair we got emporered by a sacrifice of a mighty soul to become the avatar of akatosh. Regardless i would say with this power we would be able to defeat a daedric prince but not in his realm.

The Aedras were Daedras before but gave up their power to create Nirn so actually they must be weaker than Daedras hence the only way to beat them is if they are not in their realm imo

Still, it is us fighting the daedric Prince. This shouldnt be happening in the first place, imo. The "Avatar of Akatosh" getting killed from a World Boss? Give me a break... (not you, the company)
