Guys from ZoS, Microsoft or whatever - do you actually listen to your players?
Look at your forums, look at Twitter, FB and so on, then you know what most of the players really want:
- a new class (one of the must haves this year!),
- several new weapon skill lines (crossbow, spear, one-handed + rune/book/orb/ scepters etc.),
- a new really huge quest area and more challenges for experienced players,
- pvp (cyro) revision and expansions (how long have we been wanting this?),
- 1-2 new battleground maps,
- CP rework (how long have you been talking about it?),
- reward system for achievements,
- more special events (anniversaries etc.),
- cultivation of alchemy reagents + armor mannequins + weather & day/night control for housing,
- group and/or battlemounts and a few other new mounts (with less re-skinning and more unique models!),
- ingame hairdresser
- ...and so on and so on
And now we get companions... I don't know what to say ... honestly ... and I've been with it since the beta...
Are these companions fully "fleshed out"? With own skill lines, customizing options, special outfit system and ride their own mounts? A system with which you can control them? Let me guess...
For some player it maybe nice for a single DLC-feature, but it hardly adds enough flavor for an entire chapter. You have to keep your players occupied, challenge them, offer them something - especially when there is so much competition this year (WoW, New World etc.)...
@tuxon
That's the problem, there isn't any CP rework...
@WhereArtThouVampires
True... New World, WoW, FFXIV - and at ESO there are ... companions...
@Minyassa
Housing is actually a big issue, but apparently it is not important to listen to the wishes of the players...

I would never expect everything, but as you said: not even one thing!?
I just do not understand...
