Nah, no one cares of they are "represented". I certainly don't. It's just so sad and cringey to watch developers pull out these characters, like action figures on their shelves, and metaphorically hold them up pronouncing "like what we have, it is women, and they are STROOONG. Bask in our vitrtue!"
No one cares eh? Not the OP whose first lines included that poor argonian male and complaints of sexism against men? Haha.
I'm all for a discussion on false virtue signaling especially given the makeup of the crew that did the talking during the reveal event etc etc but that is not what this thread is about.
Yeah, I'm discussing the false virtue signaling and forcing a narrative that seemingly has come to a head with this trailer/ live stream. After two expansions of 'women good/strong, men incompetent/bad' and then Pete going out of his way to completely ignore and even refer to their group as a trio of women just felt a bit jarring and worth mentioning.

Let's see the definition of sexism: "Sexism is prejudice or discrimination based on a person's sex or gender". Now you tell me: a single trailer with three women in it is sexist? Did you see any discrimination to men? Good God. People these days, I tell you. People these days.
Yeah, Pete literally ignored the argonian's existence and specifically said "Let's talk about the trio of powerful women"
To say they weren't at least forcing it a bit is very blindsighted of you
having three women in the trailer isn't too much either. It's the fact for the past two expansions we've seen nothing but weak or incompetent men with the main focus being on good/strong women. Not to mention, again, Pete going out of his way to completely ignore the argonian guy.
All of this wrapped into one leaves me with a jarring feeling.
It was so nice to see an Argonian as one of the main story NPCs in a trailer... I think it is 1st time it happened.HappyLittleTree wrote: »I need a name for that big boi Saxhleel

You loved the part where they completely ignored the argonian guy and went out of their way to put emphasis on strong women?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying those characters are bad. I'm just saying it was a bit forced to be like 'look guys, we have a trio of strong women.' meanwhile not even mentioning or at least acknowledging the assistance of the argonian, who has appeared in both the teaser and the main trailer now and looks to be friends with the wood elf.
