Can't log in to ESO website to link Twitch account

The Account page for Elderscrollsonline.com is undergoing maintenance. My husband is trying to link his Twitch account and can't because he can't access his ESO account online. Will people still be able to access the free pet from watching the stream since the website is unavailable? Is there a workaround for linking the accounts?

TrepChainsSoul ShrivenI've logged into Twitch, and only once there found out the old extension I had linked was removed, and I had to re-link.
Now the website is under maintenance, so we just miss the drops? That's really unfortunate, and bad planning.
EDIT: Still getting Timeout pages when trying to link to Twitch!
