Online Streaming is just TV, on the internet basically. I don't understand the hostility in your thoughts. Plus the viewer counts there is a good way for them to gauge community interest.

I don't watch tv. Or movies. And I save my bandwidth for playing the game.

for bandwith saving purposes. you can change the resolution to 160 which uses almost no bandwith and you only need to watch for 15 minutes to qualify for rewards.

but.. /shrug... if you don't want to, you don't want to. to each their own and all that, I guess its the hostility that the company does that at all is kinda jarring. its like you saying that you don't appreciate that companies make movies or TV shows and stream them, they should stick to creating books and only books! just because its not something YOU appreciate. to each their own, you know?

Why would you talk about anything in a forum? We can ask 'why' about any activity. Why watch TV or play video games when you can actually do things?

And it isn't a "game stream." It is an announcement stream. It isn't a stream of someone playing video games. It is like a press conference. It is a launch event, like when new devices get announced. You would watch it if you wanted to see what is coming in the upcoming content drops. If you are fine just reading about it later, you can do that.

I don't get the desire to make these things sound so dramatic. It is completely reasonable to not be interested in watching. And it is completely reasonable to want to watch. Why do we have to act like people whose interests are different are idiots?
