ESO Global Reveal Event: Crown Pack Giveaway Article for tomorrow's event is locked for comment, but after reading the post I had a question about it and thought I would ask here.

The article states:

"Beginning on January 26 at 5PM EST, we will be giving away Crown Packs throughout the Global Reveal Event and will be updating this thread to announce the winners! To enter, all you need to do is simply participate in Twitch chat during the stream. Crown Packs will be delivered following the conclusion of the stream.

We will be choosing 5 winners approximately every 5 minutes. One grand prize winner each round will win 16,500 Crowns and the other four will win 1,500 Crowns. You can only win once and all platforms and regions are eligible to participate. Be sure to keep an eye on your Twitch DMs, as that's how we will be awarding crown pack codes!"

My question:
Winners are chosen every 5 minutes from twitch chat throughout the event, does that mean we have to type in twitch chat every 5 minutes or just once for the whole event (and our name gets re-entered automatically for the next draw)?

So is it random or selected, is it OK to spam a chat line or does it need to be an actual relevant thought? I ask because I can not see how this does not turn into a massive spam of repeated text from thousands.

Active in chat with insanely rapid text I can barely read anything. It will be a chaos so many will type in same time, my eyes i get dizzy almost. No thank you. I will just listen and watch the event.

So a bot will pick spam from chatbots. Makes a change from a bot picking "!drop" from the twitch streamers discord to auto-watch the stream without a human I guess 8)

I shall be doing something different - watching it for the content ;-)
